We Volunteered with @martatransit today for the @martatransit Clean Sweep at East Lake Station. Always a pleasure to link with @claeyscreates 🥰🥰🫶🏾

Parents, start them young! Community service teaches our kids the importance of giving back, AND those volunteer hours can add up. If you have a high schooler, check their school’s graduation requirements now to see what volunteer or service hours they may need. Don’t wait until senior year! 😂

Service + community + starting early. It really takes a village! 🧡💛💙

Back-to-school season is officially here, and this one feels a little different 🥹 @jordynthecreative Destination: 10th Grade!

I’ve always told Jordyn that the sky isn’t the limit. It’s just the beginning. Somewhere along the way, that little saying turned into a genuine love for aviation.

What started with plane watching has grown into airport adventures, museums, volunteering, and me learning right alongside her about all the amazing programs and career paths in aviation. Shoutout to @obapsoutheast for helping expose young people to opportunities they may have never imagined.

But if you know Jordyn, you know she’s just as creative as she is curious. Art has always been her thing. For years, her talent lived in sketchbooks and on her iPad. She asked if she could start putting her designs on accessories, and of course I said yes. I’m always looking for ways to help her get her artwork out of the notebook because the world deserves to see it.

Now let’s talk about this backpack. 😂 She had her heart set on the pink @vondutch backpack, and we looked everywhere for it. It was sold out! Instead of being disappointed, she decided to create her own version. Big shoutout to @wearecititrends for having the backpack she used as her canvas. She turned “we can’t find it” into “I’ll make it myself,” and I absolutely love that about her.

As she heads into 10th grade, if anyone has information about aviation maintenance, engineering, or youth aviation opportunities, send it my way! And if you’re looking for custom artwork on backpacks, shoes, or accessories, my girl is ready to put her creativity to work. 🥰

Here’s to a successful school year, Jordyn. Keep dreaming big, creating boldly, and never stop reaching for the skies.

Your village loves you. Now… cleared for takeoff. 🛫💞 taken in Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport by @atallcreative

Whether you’re visiting Atlanta for the World Cup or you’re an ATL local who’s been thinking about trying @martatransit , this is your sign to get out and explore.❣️

I’ve been using MARTA to experience more of my city! From catching an @atlantadream game, seeing @shakira at @statefarmarena , exploring the @atlantaculturalexchange , and spending time in @downtownatlanta and @visitdecaturga during all the World Cup excitement.

If you’re new to MARTA, download the new MARTA app before you head out. You can pay your fare by tapping your smartwatch, smartphone, Better Breeze card, or even a credit or debit card, making it easy to get where you’re going.

Whether you’re heading to the FIFA Fan Festival Downtown , the @decaturwatchfest26 , free World Cup watch parties around metro Atlanta, or a night of live music at @eddiesattic Attic , MARTA is a great way to experience more of Atlanta.

And before you leave… don’t skip the lemon pepper wings. Try Jr Crickets @cricketscascade one of my faves🍗🫶🏾

Remember to pay your fare share, stay aware of your surroundings, stand to the right on the escalators, be courteous to your fellow riders, and always ride with respect.

What’s your favorite place to explore in Atlanta using MARTA? Let me know in the comments!
