A FUN-tastic Celebration of LOVE ❤️🍾🕺🎊

This was probably one of the most fun and heartfelt weddings I’ve hosted thus far. From the very start I could tell from the atmosphere that it wasn’t just a matter of attendance for the guests but they were genuinely there to celebrate this beautiful couple. It was truly a night of love and laughter cherished together.

Everything from the intimate father daughter dance to the competitive table vs table games to the footloose after party, each bit evokes emotions and memories that lasts a lifetime.

Thank you for letting me witness and narrate your special day @tanjanc_ & christoniblack , it was truly an honour and pleasure to have done so.

Never a dull moment teaming up with @eventistrymalaysia to bring dream weddings to life!

There is something about Penang that cannot be replicated.

Perhaps it is the old shophouses. The quiet grandeur of its heritage buildings. The way history lingers in the walls, and every gathering feels connected to a story that began long before us.

For A & J, we leaned into exactly that.

A weekend layered with character, nostalgia and thoughtful details. Rich reds, heritage textures, candlelit corners, familiar faces and moments that felt both deeply personal and timeless.

These are the weddings we find ourselves drawn to at Sugar & Spice. Celebrations with a strong sense of place, where every detail feels connected to the story being told.

A & J’s wedding felt very much like Penang itself.

原来完成我们爱的人的梦想，看着我们爱的人快乐，
可以让我如此满足

谢谢愿意一起完成家人梦想的哥嫂还有侄女
整个旅途分工合作，互相照顾，和和气气，只能说完美
还有总是默默陪伴我一起做我想要做的事的另一半
也很谢谢你坚持飞行，不计麻烦，帮我们留下如此珍贵的画面
现在看回，心里太多感动，太不真实

整个礼拜里，没有太多的手机没有社交媒体
尽管沉溺在彼此的同在里，真是太棒了，心里满满的
希望时光可以慢下来，让我们再完成更多一起的梦想

Japan, here we come.
This time, we’re bringing our parents along for the ride.
At this point in life, my parents’ wish shall be mine too.
It turns out that fulfilling the dreams of our loved ones, seeing them happy, brings about an indescribable contentment.

I’m grateful for my brother, sister-in-law, and niece for being willing to realised this family dream together.
Throughout the journey, we divided tasks, cared for one another, kept the harmony—honestly, it was all just perfect.
And to my other half, who always quietly accompanies me in everything I want to do—
thank you as well for sticking through the flights, not minding the hassle, and helping us capture such precious memories.
Looking back now, I feel overwhelmed with gratitude—so much that it feels almost unreal.

For the whole week, there were hardly any usage of phones, nor social media.
Just the 7 of us being fully present in the moment. Immersing in each other’s presence was truly wonderful—my heart feels so full.
I wish time could slow down, to give us many more chances to fulfil even more dreams together.

Crack into Strawberry Panna with @magnum 🍓🍦

What a blast it was hosting the roadshow of the recently launched Strawberry Panna from @magnum at @1utama! Tons of family-friendly activities all throughout the weekend! From the young to the not so young, everyone thoroughly enjoyed their time with us!

All I can say after a weekend of hosting this roadshow is “Malaysians, we really love our ice cream” ❤️🍫🍦

Showered with love from the skies! 🌧️🤍 Hugeeee shoutout to the entire team for (em)bracing the weather—the whole crew, all hands on deck, steady and unfazed, working tirelessly in the rain. It poured for hours. We’ve rarely seen downpour like this at our outdoor celebrations, but that’s why they call it a true blessing! As the old superstition goes: ‘Rain on your wedding day is good luck, blessings for a long and happy marriage.’ And when you have a solid team behind you, there’s really nothing left but to fully enjoy it!
