This past weekend we had wedding festivities all weekend long. It really was the best weekend. Sat night my baby girl was escorted down the aisle by her daddy and walked back out as Mrs Caden Rector! God was in every little detail. If God let them, and I believe Pastor Debbie when she said He has the kind of audacity to let things happen. I just believe and I kept getting pictures in my mind that day of mama, daddy, and daddy pulling back a corner of the veil and peeking. I don’t think it could have gone any better. God really did show up and show out all weekend long. Cameryn never doubted him. I was a little nervous about rain but she would not let me put a back up plan in place. It started raining around 5 and stopped right about 5:45-5:50! The staff at the venue worked their behinds off trying to get everything back in place and all of the chairs dried off. The wedding started on time and it was a beautiful night. This is just a preview. When they come back from their honeymoon, be ready for picture overload. @cameryn_rector and @cadenrector13, we are thrilled beyond words that God brought you two together. Happy belated birthday to my little girl. She has been my sidekick for years. She knows how to make me madder than fire and she also reminds me who can bring me out of my darkest places. She makes us all laugh with her quirkyness and she makes us proud with her hard work and determination. She loves her brother and thinks he is the funniest person ever and sometimes I’ll catch glimpses of her looking at him like he hung the moon. She loves spending time with her Daddy, while I’m working and learning new things from him and she has gained a new appreciation of how hard he works for our family. Over the past few years, I have watched her grow in her walk with the Lord and through this process of praying and trusting Him, He led her straight to the love of her life. He is her calm, her safe space, and her best friend. Watching her live out her faith daily, not only makes me proud but it also inspires me. @cameryn_barrow, I have seen a huge change in you since you have come home from college. I see you study the word, and then talk about it with such passion and you go out and share the love of Jesus everyday, because of the light that He has reignited in you. I’m so grateful to have a front row seat to watch you continue to grow into the woman God has created you to be. Keep shining that light, sweet girl. I love learning from you❤️ by @atb426

I sent this message in our family group chat this morning and something told me to share it with everyone. I had to do a little editing but here goes. We all know it is Holy Week. I’m trying to be intentional about learning and thinking about the different things Jesus did every day this week. I’m going to be completely honest by telling y’all I have struggled seeing the goodness of God and even talking to Him lately. The other night I went to bed just saying over and over. You are God and you are good. I didn’t feel it but I said it. I woke up this morning and read about what He did today. It’s nothing huge. I was just overcome with gratitude, thinking about Jesus going through the motions of every day this week, knowing what He was going to go through. Then, all of the memories of the ways that God has been good to me and our family started flooding back to me. It’s easy to get stuck when we are going through trials and I have felt stuck since mama passed. If any of you ever feel that way, remember and say it out loud, God is still good. I encourage you all to be intentional of thinking about the things that Jesus did every day this week and how he must have been feeling every day, knowing what was coming and then remember, He did it for us. He is good, even in the hard times, when we our hearts are broken or we are struggling in any way, He is still good. I’m not preaching. I’m just sharing because every one of us are going to feel struggles or stuck at some point and when you do, know you are not alone, never….and He has been, is now, and always will be good. I apologize for any way that I haven’t been present or shown up for y’all in the past couple of years. I’m trying my best to do better. I have to give myself some grace and know that I can’t be everything for everyone all the time but I will always be here for y’all to help in any way that I can. God is faithful and He is good ALL THE TIME. by @atb426

Happy first Heavenly birthday mama. Things don’t feel quite right without you here. If I’m being honest, I never knew it would be this hard. I miss you everyday. I know that you are no longer suffering and that Daddy was right there to meet you at those Pearly Gates, saying…”Hey Purdy.” I will love you forever and I know I’ll be seeing you again. You were definitely the strongest lady I have ever known, Janice Garris. You fought the good fight and you finished the race and I pray that when you saw the face of Jesus, He said…”well done my good and faithful servant. Welcome home.” by @atb426
