It’s been just over a week since we wrapped up our tournament, and we’re back with so many learnings, memories, and experiences to take into the season ahead. 🇲🇾🥏

A HUGE thank you to everyone who supported our journey to Malaysia - through your donations, your time, your encouragement, and your belief in us. We couldn’t have done this without you. ❤️🙏🏽

The tournament gave us the chance to compete at a high level, take on some of the top-seeded teams, and come away with some memorable wins. It reinforced our strengths, highlighted areas to improve, and gave us invaluable experience as we continue to grow.

Most importantly, we got to spend an incredible weekend together as a team - something we’ll carry with us into a fresh new season.

Thank you once again to everyone who made this possible - our supporters here in India, and the amazing folks at @trioinvitational for hosting such a well-organized international tournament. We loved and soaked in every minute of it!

Layout Queen. 👑🥏

Shirl ‘Kurahashi’. Scoring Machine 🎰

If there’s a practice, chances are Shirl was there before everyone else.

Consistency is her superpower. She shows up, puts in the work, and quietly sets the standard for everyone around her. Hardworking, dependable, and always ready to do what’s needed for the team. ✨

Just don’t get too comfortable. Just when you think you’re safe, you’ll find yourself on the receiving end of a perfectly timed roast. Somehow, she’s always one step ahead. 😮‍💨

Rumour has it she also invented the concept of gossip. We can’t confirm it… but we can’t rule it out either. 👀

A true teammate in every sense of the word.

Malaysia, watch out for this Layout Queen! 🔥👑 taken in Bangalore, India by @atc_ultimate

Six-Pack Shiva. 🔥🥏

Biryani lover. Skywalker. Storm 🌊

If the disc is in the air, chances are Shiva is too. He brings relentless energy, never backing down from a chase, a layout, or a huge defensive play.

His backhand fakes? Dangerous. Sometimes even to his own teammates, who are just as likely to get faked. 😮‍💨

He’s also usually mistaken for Laxman. We promise they’re different people.

Fast. Fearless. Full of fire 🔥✨

Brace yourselves. This storm ain’t calming down anytime soon! taken in Bangalore, India by @atc_ultimate

Appachu Airlines. ✈️🥏

He’s fast. He’s tall. He’ll sky you… and probably fall.

Appachu learns fast, brings incredible energy on and off the field, and somehow keeps getting better every time he steps onto the field.

Whether it’s practice, tournaments, or team events, he’s always ready to jump in. Although, during the Garage & Bake Sale, he somehow managed to create more work than he came to help with. 😭

Passenger princess? Absolutely.
Horror movie fan? Ask the tennis racket
What’s his actual name? It’s Arjun, he likes that better.

He also supports Norway in the world cup but has no idea which way the flag goes 🙏🏽

Tall enough to catch everything. Humble enough to laugh at himself (also laughs at others 😒)

Shop of Motivation. 💪🏾🥏

Genuine. Kind. Athletic.

Laxman is one of those players who lets his game do the talking. Quiet by nature, but always present when the team needs him.

A true asset to the team - he’s hardworking, dependable, and relentlessly committed. He leads by example, encourages the people around him, and brings intensity to every point without ever making it about himself. ❤️‍🔥

His celebrations and hype energy are somethings you want to keep an eye out for!!

He’s also usually mistaken for Shiva. We’re still not entirely sure how. 👀

The silent la*** on the pitch. The loudest supporter when it matters 📣

Always encouraging. Always motivating. Always giving his all.

Buckle up - Laxman’s bringing the energy! 💥 taken in Bangalore, India by @atc_ultimate

Tactical Mastermind. Iceman. Scoober Sarang. 🥏 BHAAAAAIIII.

ATC’s Swiss Army Knife 🔪

He is the workhorse of the team! 🐎 Sarang has pivot that appears to be approximately 1 kilometre long, young legs, and an inside-out forehand so clean he could probably throw it in his sleep.

Sarang sets the bar high and constantly pushes the team to discover what we’re capable of, both individually and collectively. Unfortunately, this often involves running. A lot of running. 🏃‍♂️😮‍💨

He sees potential in every player and refuses to let them settle for less than they’re capable of. Whether it’s a training drill, a tournament, or a tough conversation, he’s always pushing us to be better.

If Sarang suddenly switches from English to rapid-fire Hindi, one of two things is happening:

• He’s making a very important tactical point.
• He’s cursing someone.

The scary part is nobody can tell which.

According to Sarang, the hand signals say it all: women are open-minded and men are d***heads. 🤐

Are you ready? Sarang’s already planned three moves ahead. 🔥♟️🥏 taken in Bangalore, India by @atc_ultimate

Considerate. Committed. 🥏

Always willing to help. Always willing to learn and put in the work.

Jesher shows up with an open mind, takes feedback on board, and is constantly looking for ways to grow his game.

The kind of teammate who’s ready to lend a hand and ask questions when in doubt!

His hucks, however, operate on a different timeline. Once released, they typically take two business days to come down. 📦🚀

And if you foul him, there’s a good chance he’ll apologise to you and keep playing.

As for long-distance running - let’s just say if a tournament ever comes down to a marathon, Jesher will be looking for alternative solutions. 🏃‍♂️😅

Malaysia, Jesher is ready. Are you? 🇲🇾🥏 taken in Bangalore, India by @atc_ultimate

Pure Passion. 💛🥏

Kind. Considerate. Dedicated.

Aditi is the kind of player who falls in love with the process of getting better. Every training session, every tournament, every challenge is another opportunity to learn, improve, and come back stronger.

Distance may have changed her address, but not her commitment to the team or the sport. No matter where she is, she’s always finding ways to stay connected and keep growing. 💙

She’s also blessed with a very special talent: falling over for absolutely no apparent reason. Some players layout. Some players trip. Aditi has mastered both. 🤸‍♀️

And while we’re asking important questions—does anyone have a photo of Aditi without her tongue out? We’re beginning to think they don’t exist. 📸😜

Mahi also maintains a growing archive of questionable Aditi quotes. For legal reasons, we will not be publishing them. 🤐

Kind-hearted, deeply committed, and always giving her all, Aditi reminds us that improvement isn’t a destination—it’s a process.

ATC’s Big Hero 6. 🦸‍♂️

Calm. Composed. Gentle Giant.

Need a face-to-face conversation with Varun? Does anyone have a crane? 🚧

As ATC’s co-Spirit Captain, Varun leads in a way that doesn’t always draw attention to itself. He’s not the loudest voice in the huddle, but he’s there when one seeks advice, perspective, or simply someone to listen.

He’s always looking out for the players around him, taking the time to check in individually and offer thoughtful, constructive feedback on and off the field. 🫶🏽

When things get chaotic, Varun brings calm. When emotions run high, he brings composure. And when Varun is on the line, you know things are going to be alright.

A steady presence, an impactful leader, and one of the kindest people you’ll meet.

Prem. 🌪️
The Storm Before the Calm.

Highly competitive, committed, and always ready to give his all, Prem brings an energy to the field that’s impossible to miss.

He’s the kind of player who can disappear from Ultimate for weeks and then casually return, reminding everyone that class really is permanent.

When he’s locked into a point, there’s only one gear: full commitment. Whether it’s a chase, a cut, or a defensive effort, he’s all in.

Of course, not everything is his fault. Sometimes it’s the wind. In fact, according to Prem, it’s very often the wind. 🌬️👀

Always pushing for more, he’s the kind of teammate who raises the level of everyone around him.

Are you ready? The storm is coming. 🇲🇾🥏 taken in Bangalore, India by @atc_ultimate

ATC’s Superstar 🌟

Genuine. Considerate. Reliable.

Somewhere along the way, ATC may or may not have kidnapped Aadhi and convinced him to stay. We’re all very grateful that he did.

Aadhi is the kind of teammate every squad hopes for. Calm under pressure, composed when things get chaotic, and always someone you can count on when it matters most.

He doesn’t speak the most, but when he does, people listen. Whether it’s a timeout huddle or a tough moment in a tournament, he’ll somehow tell us exactly what we need to hear. Honestly, he should consider a career in motivational speaking. 🎤

A true asset to this squad, Aadhi leads through his actions as much as his words. And if you’ve ever had the chance to watch him play, you’ll know - he’s a joy to watch, even when he’s on your own team.

Calm. Composed. Class. 🔥🫡
