I remember when I first heard Caspa and Rusko’s Fabric Live 37 mix, I had never heard electronic music like that before and I instantly fell in love.

When I first started working on EDM I was mainly producing house music, I did some bootleg dubstep remixes for fun, put them out as ADWR and didn’t expect much to come from them.

A few weeks later a friend sent me video of Rusko playing one of my bootlegs at Coachella, which gave me a sort of validation to go down more of a dubstep/bass music path with my music.

“BRUV” is a homage to that revolutionary UK sound that spawned so many different styles across the dubstep/bass electronic music.

I’ve been really inspired by the resurgence of the old school dubstep sounds that I originally fell in love with back when I first started ADWR.

I love a good tearout dub track as much as the next guy, but there’s something about that early UK dubstep sound that will always hit close to home.

I only put out one track this year and still did over a million plays on Spotify. It always amazes me that songs produced over the last decade still resonate with listeners.

I currently have six tracks done to release in 2025 for ADWR and appreciate everyone who still takes the time to listen to this project. 🙏🏻 by @atdawnwerage

The response and feedback on this one has been awesome, I want to say thanks to everyone for taking the time to listen and share it! 🙏

A lot of the tracks I’ve been working on releasing in the coming months draw inspiration from the early days of 140bpm deep dubstep, the stuff that made me really fall in love with electronic music. It seems like there’s been a resurgence of that sound in recent years and it’s exciting to see a lot of producers going back to that vibe.
