A glimpse into our 2023 summer school of worship and creativity at Bethanie in France. A beautiful time spent engaging in rhythms of prayer, worship & creativity with 30 young adults from across different nations.

During our Never Find The End school we made ourselves still, meditated on scripture and observed the wild flowers….

“Consider how the wild flowers grow. They do not labor or spin. Yet I tell you, not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today, and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, how much more will he clothe you - you of little faith”. -

Over the past few weeks at Bethanie, we’ve cultivated rhythms of gathering around the table - sharing the beauty of laying a table, and the joy of feasting and giving thanks.

Even in last week’s heatwave, we were so blessed by @ic__hobbs delicious dishes, each moment inviting intentional conversation and rhythms of serving one another.

Reflecting on the recent gatherings we’ve hosted as Atelier, what a joy each one has been.

From Call to Worship with Ryan Hall to our mini Cornwall Atelier retreat with Pete Davies, Ryan Hall, Jon White, and others, we feel deeply grateful for the intentional time we’ve shared together. Through rhythms of prayer, worship, Scripture, creativity, and community, we have been blessed to seek God alongside one another.

In the words of Mary Oliver, “Attention is the beginning of devotion.” This captures so much of what we hope to cultivate through these spaces: a chance to fix our gaze on the beauty of our Lord through a variety of practices, creative expressions, and spiritual disciplines.

Thank you to everyone who has joined us on the journey so far. We are excited for the upcoming Atelier gatherings at Bethanie in France this summer and look forward to continuing to create spaces where we can encounter God together with attentiveness, wonder, and devotion.

Hello Alumni - In addition to our France school, we are hosting an Alumni Retreat . A time to reconnect, regather, and return to the creative rythms you first discovered at Bethanie. A few days of prayer, worship, workshops, shared meals, and fellowship - a space to pause, reflect, and step deeper into creativity together. Limited spaces available. Contributing to our Cornwall day retreat on the 5th June!

We have the wonderful friends of Atelier; Pete Davies who be facilitating a writing workshop, Ryan & Karen Hall leading us in worship, and Jon & Anna White will be hosting and sharing.

We can’t wait for these intimate Atelier rhythms coming up, we’re really excited to see what God does in these spaces.
