One of my favorite things about thrifting is finding decor that can be used in their enclosures. It gives me an opportunity to think creatively, and shop mindfully! 💭

All four frogs are getting an upgrade for Christmas, but Tom & Fiona seem to be enjoying their new additions so far 💌📫🛋️🐸 by @atelier.fauna

Two types of frogs in the world: One that naps after breakfast and one that is rotund but has energy. Can you guess which is which? 🐸 by @atelier.fauna

Tom is on the mend! I was super super stressed & nervous because Red Leg Syndrome is indicative of a deeper bacterial infection, and can quickly turn fatal. Unfortunately his sister Fiona caught the infection as well, but luckily they made it until our appt with the exotic vet this week!

It will take a while for both of them to heal, but I’m relieved they’re receiving treatment. 🙂 Please continue to keep them in your thoughts 💚

I’ve also been giving them a soak of a 1:4 unflavored Pedialyte/Water solution. This helps replenish electrolytes and soothes the redness. Stay tuned for some BTS videos 😉

Every day I learn something new about these cutie patooties!

Building terrariums is a practice. It’s important to constantly challenge yourself; to experiment and not be afraid of “failure.” There is no measure of success, except how long your garden lives.

A well-constructed terrarium can live for decades. The oldest terrarium is 65 years old & counting!

I made these tiny babies a couple of months ago. Unfortunately I dropped one immediately and broke it 😢 taken in Portland, Oregon by @atelier.fauna

Just one of the little cutie projects for @smrjl17’s biweekly #plantbingo! Swipe to see the process 🫡

this little guy was made using ethically-sourced moss and #fittonia from @dennis7dees. Fittonia do great inside a terrarium as they thrive in higher humidities and bright indirect light.

Another fun fact: they are very easy to propagate!

Can’t wait to see which lucky winner takes this little creation home 🥰 🌱

Everyone say hi to one of the newest residents: Jigglypuff! She’s a juvenile Snowflake White’s Tree Frog that I took in after a fellow frogger needed to rehome her & her brother. 🐸

And after weeks of patiently waiting, she finally let me interact!

She got so comfortable she even loafed out and fell asleep, and didn’t want to move even when I tried to put her back 🥹
