✨ What an incredible honor and unforgettable experience! ✨

I had the amazing opportunity to accompany the legendary Kailash Kher on Tabla & Dholak in Orlando at the Gujarati & Indian Physicians Convention. 🥁🎶

Sharing the same stage with such an iconic and soulful artist was truly a dream come true. His voice, energy, passion, and ability to connect with the audience are simply extraordinary. 🙏🏽❤️

Moments like these remind me why I love music so much — the opportunity to learn, grow, collaborate, and create something magical through rhythm and melody.

Thank you, Kailash Ji, for an experience I will always cherish. It was an absolute privilege to be part of your musical journey for the evening. 🙏🏽

Thanks to @markasproductions for the wonderful opportunity!

Here’s to many more stages, beats, and unforgettable musical moments! 🥁🔥🎵

Throwing it ALL the way back to November 2024! 🔥🥁

Warming up the dhol before the Baraat at the Hard Rock Riviera Maya, Cancun 🇲🇽🌴 — and what better way to get the energy going than “Big Dawgs”?! 😤🔥

The calm before the storm… because once that Baraat started, it was FULL SEND! 🥁💥

Beautiful destination. Amazing crowd. Unforgettable energy. And the dhol was ready to do what it does best — BRING THE HEAT! 🔥

Congratulations to @far_fuad & @passionpatt

Setting the tone for an unforgettable evening in Sevierville, Tennessee. It was an honor to play tabla during cocktail hour and help create the perfect atmosphere as guests arrived.

Moments like these remind me how powerful music can be—bringing people together before the celebration even begins. Grateful for the opportunity, the amazing vibes, and everyone who made the evening so special. 🙏🥁

Here's a little clip of an original composition that came to my head one day. I was getting ready for an event (actually, it was @footdr_ash 's reception party) and as I was literally packed, ready to load the truck up, this tune ran across my thoughts- mind you, at that time I was chaotically busy with rehearsals, shipping, events and all other things, but for that whisp of a moment - this melody ran through my head.

I dropped everything I was doing.

I picked up Begum ( my other sitar, the Rikhi Ram antique) and quickly transposed the notes ( my normal key is in D, Begum is in C#) and turned on the recorder on my phone.

I started.

What came out was pure emotion, from where? I can't tell you. In the midst of all things going on, my mind was saying "Sit down. Takes notes. And play"

So I listened.

I recorded a quick 4 minute clip and then resumed to pack and gig for the evening. I met the wonderful @anischandani for the first time as he was a surprise guest for the evening, and @rajbtabla and performed for the event through the night.

A day or so later, I sat down and collected my thoughts, and did a short clip after playing around with the original. I sent it to a wonderful friend @zainabbalochmusic and since we were doing rehearsals for the Orlando Baithak that week, when I saw her in person I played it for her- she liked it and said it definitely has a feel of "nakhra" to it- a playful, sassy, and demanding feeling, almost akin to how Radha and Krishna would interact, in a loving way.

And that sentiment is exactly what I felt. An affectionate, playful, cheeky exchange. Something light, something to uplift and sooth your mood.

I know. I talk a lot. But I want to share the story, so one day, if someone listens to it, they have a little context of my crazy.

Fast forward, @atesh_indarjit and I had to perform for an event, ( I played it for him when we had rehearsals that week too) so when I started to play he gave me a look- "Oh, so THATS what we're playing today!" 😂😂

The recording is in the works, I hope to share it with you all soon! #sitar #music #reels #original by @atesh_indarjit

Bringing a different energy to How Deep Is Your Love 🎶🥁

Tabla in hand, sitting by the water at Indian Creek… boats gliding past, breeze in the air, and just letting the rhythm take over. Turning a deep house classic into something more organic, more soulful—where East meets West in the most natural way.

This one isn’t just a cover, it’s a whole mood. Tap in, chill your mind, and feel the fusion 🌊✨

The sun was shining, the ocean breeze was rolling in, and Gagan made his entrance the way a baraat should happen, full of energy, music, and celebration.

Riding in on horseback along the seaside in Hollywood, Florida, Gagan’s family and friends brought the kind of dance floor energy that turns a procession into a full experience. Every step forward felt like a celebration in motion.
