Two table styles, one gorgeous reception. When Sarah, Toby and I were designing tablescapes at the rental showroom, two very different linens from @bbjlatavola were their consistent favorites. One, a rich chartreuse velvet, and the other a taupe linen with a gentle white floral pattern. Instead of choosing one, we said “why not both?” … and from there the design really came to life. So, consider this your permission to choose “and” over “or.” Sometimes that’s the key to taking a design to the next level. Gabby and Zach came to @canvasweddings with a vision for their @gilbertsvillefarmhouse wedding that was anything but subtle. Maximalist, punny, deeply personal - and somehow, all of it super intentional. Corinne of @canvasweddings said it best: “There was a lot going on visually, but it all felt like it belonged in this magical world of the couple’s imagining. It was EXTRA, but never too much.” Nods to the couple’s love for TV and films were woven throughout; signature cocktails named “Herb Your Enthusiasm” and “Big Little Limes,” a seating chart inspired by When Harry Met Sally, and a Moira Rose wig wall at the after party.
