just do the thing, you won’t regret it 😆👋

I am tying to get used to seeing myself differently while expanding my creative efforts with in the world of modeling. Often I find myself comparing projects I’ve done in the past in an effort to find things I could change or improve on for the next. This worked for a little, especially when I first started modeling, but I’ve run into a new learning curve. One where there is the desire to create more concepts that connect differently with myself and my audience, but trouble knowing where to start when given a blank canvas.

When painting, I usually just pick whatever color I like the most that day and scribbling until I start to see shapes. Applying that process with modeling, I’ve been in love with bright reds and blues for the past few months. So when given the opportunity by @mazahdz to feature in this year’s Return to the River youtube video, I was ecstatic to start.

Thank you @avesfilms_ for giving me the opportunity to be apart of your vision :)

the end this tangent though, I’ve learned there are ways to incorporate past versions of yourself with the present without getting stuck on improvement. I’m happy with how this look turned out and I’m staying tuned for the youtube video :)

Being misunderstood feels like…

introducing many parts of yourself to many people in many ways…

and still being reduced to nothing more than what they can see physically.

like it would kill for them to have some curiosity

to be loved is to be seen, but i’ve never understood why it only focuses on the obvious things…

for me, its hardly ever miscommunication..
