One unforgettable holiday, two families, far too many cocktails and enough chaos to last us until October.

From boat trips & dolphin spotting to cruising around on electric scooters, watching the most gorgeous sunsets and wearing questionable rude T-shirts.
There were cocktails, crazy tattoos, endless laughs, plenty of sunshine and those moments where you look around and think… yep, this is exactly what holidays are about.
Huge thanks to our amazing friends, The Clark Family, for making this holiday one we definitely won’t forget!

While wandering around Rome, we came across @theoddity_patchbar and I absolutely loved the idea behind it.
It’s one of those places where you can let your personality do the shopping!
You pick your item, choose from loads of fun patches and designs, and create something that’s completely you.
I love souvenirs like this because they’re not just “I bought this in Rome”… they’re something you’ve actually chosen and created yourself.
Another little Rome gem that I’m very glad we stumbled across.

Rome, you were something special ❤️🇮🇹
The kids seeing history come to life and moaning they couldn’t walk anymore. Long walks through streets full of stories, and stopping every five minutes for “just one more gelato” or of course I can eat 3 tiramisus.

It wasn’t just a trip… it was time together, properly switched off, making memories we’ll hold onto forever.

One of the cutest little shops we found in Rome!
Grand Cafe Marcel (which is not a cafe, though I’m told he does sometimes offer a cuppa). It’s a local artist studio/ souvenir store with the most original souvenirs, posters, postcards, stickers and much more. It’s located near by piazza Navona and it’s not to be missed!! by @athomewiththelipscombs

Turns out we’re basically Italian chefs now 🇮🇹👩‍🍳👨‍🍳
Spent the day at @cheforaday making pasta and tiramisu from scratch… flour everywhere, zero clue what we were doing half the time, but somehow it all tasted incredible.
Kids fully committed (mainly to making a mess), adults fully committed (mainly to eating it and drinking the wine)
Safe to say we’ll be attempting this at home… results pending 😂

I stumbled across this gorgeous little shop while wandering around Rome, and it was one of those places that immediately catches your eye.

Inside was a beautiful collection of Italian-made leather pieces, with that gorgeous traditional, handcrafted feel that makes Italian leather so special.
And obviously… I couldn’t just look. 😂
I chose this beautiful purse and had my initials added to it, making it a completely personal little piece to take home with me.
I love finding places like this when I travel somewhere you can pick up something that feels personal to you, rather than just a typical tourist souvenir.
Now I have a little piece of Rome that I’ll actually use every day.

Definitely worth a little wander if you’re in Rome and love beautiful, personalised Italian leather.

A little piece of Rome to take home 🇮🇹
One of my favourite little finds in Rome was @paolina_roma and if you love anything personalised, this place is dangerous for the bank balance!

It’s a Charm Bar where you get to create something completely your own, choosing the charms that mean something to you.
I came away with a permanent bracelet with my birthstone charm, plus the cutest little keyring with my own selection of charms.
I absolutely love that they’re not just souvenirs they’re little reminders of a trip, a moment or something personal to you.
If you’re heading to Rome and love jewellery, keepsakes and a bit of personalisation, definitely add Paolina Roma to your list. 🇮🇹

💙 TODAY’S THE DAY! 💙
Well… there’s no backing out now!

Today I’m taking on Tough Mudder to raise money for Alzheimer’s Society.
I’m expecting mud, freezing water, climbing, crawling, scrambling and some seriously tough obstacles and I’m pretty sure there’ll be a few moments where I wonder exactly why I signed up for this!

But there’s a really important reason behind it.
I’m raising money for Alzheimer’s Society, the dedicated charity supported by the company I work for and personally close to my heart. It’s a cause that does such important work supporting people living with dementia and the families affected by it.
So today I’ll be getting very muddy, very wet and probably very tired… but hopefully raising some much-needed money along the way. 💙
