Hello I’m @ladyavianna

I’ve been making costumes for 20 years. I went to school for Theatrical Design with a focus on Directing, Costumes and Studio Art. After school I helped start up @ardawigs. I was their first official full-time employee.

Since then I have made costumes for Vegas shows, video game promos (at E3 & PAX), a costume on RuPaul’s Drag Race and more. I’ve recently decided to try and make crafting my full-time job!

My goal is to make costumes that are detailed and durable. I want my clients to really feel the way I do when I step into a costume. Confident and in character!

In 2024 I was contacted by CosplayVegas with an opportunity to work on a costume for local drag icon @mirage_amuro when she competed on @rupaulsdragrace

She wanted a La Llorona look and dreamed up a nude illusion, but with wet hair tastefully covering her more private bodyparts. The CosplayVegas team quickly worked together to make the bodysuit, Justin Dean @outrunminipainting would airbrush it to add dimension.

I went to work doing all the hair. We had a very quick turn around time, but were lucky enough to work with @ArdaWigs to get the hair to us as quickly as possible. (All hair was done in their Dark Brown)

The hairwork was a majority of the costume as it took 1 week to sculpt by hand. To create the hair appliques I used a mix of silicone, nude-illusion mesh and ALOT of patience! Once the team at CosplayVegas had constructed the bodysuit, they added the sculpted hair and glass droplets.

Big thank you to Ulises Marrero-Llerena for assisting me with travel accommodations when I need to work in studio.

I would love to create more drag looks with hair and silicone. So if you’re interested, I would love to work with you. I now create hair looks with nude illusion mesh as well as bodysuits.

When making a character costume from Silent Hill, it may seem simple. They wear shirts, jackets, and shoes that all look like stuff you can buy at the store. But the magic of Silent Hill cosplay is making it look that easy, while also looking like you walked right out of the game.

Silent Hill was the first thing I cosplayed. It’s the fandom I’ve cosplayed the most. But what always made me excited about it was not just buying something that looked vaguely like the character, but dissecting every aspect of their design. Where were the seams? What type of top stitching did they have? The exact placement of a button. Getting these little details helps elevate the experience of being the character for both cosplayer and onlookers.

Working with The Sphere Hunter was a dream, because she also believed in the power of small details. Of course she does, that’s what she’s known for! And it was an honor to find a like-minded person to work with.

If you are interested in creating a Silent Hill costume that goes that extra mile for accuracy, I’d love to work with you. Please fill out my quote form with your information and DM me so we can get nerdy about Silent Hill together! by @athreadbetweenworlds

Was very excited to be asked to make a #Sol costume from #StarWars #TheAcolyte.

Tunics made with high quality soft linens and cottons. High Republic tabards made with screen accurate silk by @SilkBaron.

Belts and gloves made from leather. Accessories were 3d printed for me and then painted the highly talented @danglitch.

Under tunic made for comfort and wash ability. Inspired by the under tunic’s designed in the Prequel series.

Wrap yourself in the dark embrace of Death’s iconic cloak with this handmade creation, inspired by #RioVidal in #AgathaAllAlong. Designed to fit like a cozy blanket but just as stylish as Death’s cloak in the show, this housecoat is soft and drapes just like the coat in the show.

This fabric is 98% Polyester and 2% Spandex, so it should be washed cold and gentle, but hung to dry.

Sized Small to XL, however the model is a size Large and is wearing a size XL cause it’s comfy. More sizing info in our store. Link in Bio!
