A TIME FOR MEN is about the fraught connection between gay men and masculinity; how it’s both alien and erotic, prohibitive and, under a patriarchy, a privilege. With the faith and direction of Bill Benz, our unwavering producers Daniel Dewes and Emma Sofia Fazzuoli, and the eye of Kyle Smolic, we at last have a movie.

This wouldn’t have been possible without everyone who supported us financially, spiritually, emotionally; it’s been years of drafts, false starts, rejection, and inspiration. To everyone who sweat, danced, or did the math, this is for you!

Massive thanks to Kentucker Audley for championing the film.

Taken right before shooting the final scene in the film by our DP Kyle Smolic.

A TIME FOR MEN follows Todd and Nathan who go to what they think is a circuit party but instead find themselves at a branded content event run by a men’s rights activist. As their night, and friendship, unravel they are forced to confront their own relationship to masculinity.
