Before you ask, “Does this person love me?” ask yourself a deeper question:

Who am I becoming while connected to them?

Are you becoming more peaceful, secure, honest, and aligned with God—or more anxious, depleted, confused, and disconnected from yourself?

A relationship can contain affection and still cost you your rest. It can look promising while quietly requiring you to abandon your boundaries, silence your needs, or carry what was never yours to hold.

Strong woman, exhaustion is not always evidence that you need to try harder. Sometimes it is information. Sometimes your soul is revealing what your strength has been covering.

25 YEARS OF PURPOSE 💙
Twenty-five years ago today, God entrusted me with one of the greatest gifts I would ever receive—my son, Ibn.
From the little boy with bright eyes and big dreams to the remarkable young man he is today, I have had the privilege of watching God's hand guide, protect, and shape his life. Through every season, every challenge, every achievement, and every milestone, I have witnessed God's faithfulness.
I am proud of your accomplishments—your academic achievements, your determination, your independence, and your growth. But more than anything, I am proud of your character.
You have become a man of integrity, intelligence, compassion, and quiet strength. You continue to pursue purpose with humility, treat others with kindness, and walk your own path with courage and conviction.
As I look back on the journey—from childhood memories and National Honor Society, to Rutgers graduation and the adventures that have carried you across the country—I am filled with gratitude. Not only for what you have accomplished, but for who you are.
My prayer is that God continues to order your steps, expand your influence, strengthen your faith, and fulfill every promise He has spoken over your life.

June 21, 2001—my life changed forever, because God gave me you.

This is one of my favorite pictures of you.
Standing tall on a mountain, arms outstretched… showing the world exactly who you are and what you’re capable of. That image is you. It captures your essence: bold yet humble, powerful yet peaceful. You've always been that person—to set a goal and accomplish it, no matter the challenge. You’re that dude. A quiet storm.

Independent. Loyal. Humble. Charitable in heart and spirit. A man after God's own heart. I don't know how I got so blessed—but I’m not asking questions, I’m just giving thanks.

My son, never stop walking with God. Life will test you—but your faith will anchor you. Stay grounded, stay focused, and stay true to the amazing man you are.

And know this: as long as I’m here, you’ll always have me in your corner—cheering you on, praying for you, loving you endlessly.

52 blessed years ✨
18,980+ days of God’s grace and faithfulness—every breath a gift. I’m deeply grateful for every loving message, call, and post—you reminded me I’m truly seen and supported.

Still Walking in My Anointing at 52

Three years going strong…
Still walking in my anointing.
Still Divinely Consecrated.
Still on assignment.

Born in 1973—back when rotary phones clicked and bell bottoms ruled.
But even then, God had already whispered, “Set her apart.”

At 52, I’m not just celebrating another year—
I’m honoring a journey of healing, pruning, rising, and release.

From 51 to 52: • I traded noise for discernment
• I stopped performing and started aligning
• I let go of what felt safe and chose what was sanctified
• I trusted God when the blueprint made no sense
• And I watched Him do what only He can do—preserve me with power

🕊️ Prayer of Gratitude:
Abba, thank You. Thank You for breath, breakthrough, and boldness.
For not letting my past disqualify me from Your promise.
For using the very things that tried to break me as bricks for purpose.
At 52, I’m still walking in what You gave me: oil, wisdom, and the fire to lead.
I’m not just alive—I’m assigned. And I’m still saying yes.

Here’s the answer nobody wants to admit:

God will sometimes call you out of provision… to remind you of who your true Provider is.

We stay longer than we should because the relationship pays.
But if it costs your obedience—it’s already too expensive.

Let’s be clear:
Support isn’t always safety.
Provision isn’t always purpose.
Familiar doesn’t mean faithful.

You’re not confused—you’re convicted.
You’re not weak—you’re in spiritual transition.
And yes, sometimes obedience feels like struggling… but you’re not just losing a person—you’re shedding a dependency that was never meant to sustain you.

You’re not walking away from help.
You’re walking into healing.
You’re walking into holy.
You’re walking into Him.

🗝️ God will never ask you to release something without already having a plan to replace it.

Wisdom Wednesday

Let’s be real:
Obedience doesn’t always come with peace.
Sometimes it comes with grief.
With silence. With fear. With the unknown.

But here’s the wisdom the enemy doesn’t want you to grasp:

Peace is often the fruit of obedience—not the prerequisite.

You didn’t lose your mind.
You didn’t move too fast.
You matured.

God didn’t ask for your emotions—He asked for your yes.

So if it hurts after obedience…
Good. That means something broke off.
