Look how far our little soccer stars have come! ⚽

Earlier this season, three Northwest Family YMCA teams joined more than 100 teams from across the South for a tournament full of competition, teamwork and new experiences.

Now, with November's end-of-season tournaments approaching, we're cheering on all our young athletes as they finish the season strong! 💙 by @atlantaymca

That's a wrap on Georgia Pre-K Week!

Did you know we're Georgia's largest Head Start provider? And our little learners LOVE a good guest reader! 📚

A big thank you to U.S. Representatives @replucymcbath and @congressmanblair for stopping by with your favorite books and making storytime extra special by @atlantaymca

Every kid deserves a chance to play. ⚽

So when Nico Cantor from CBS Sports Golazo reached out about featuring the Y, it was a no brainer!

Days later, Nico stopped by during his 41-day World Cup tour to hear from our own Scott Schadl about how we’re working to remove financial barriers so more kids can play soccer, build friendships and be part of a team.

We’re proud to be part of Coast to Coast, Soccer Across America and grateful to @nicocantor1 and @CBSSportsGolazo for sharing our story.

This week, I stopped by the Covington Family YMCA to tour the branch and check out the many resources they offer for the Covington community.

Thank you @atlantaymca , Georgia’s largest Head Start provider, for a wonderful visit and for the critical work that you do for the children and families of GA-13 and all of Metro Atlanta. by @atlantaymca

A day on the golf course, but make it purposeful. ⛳

This past Monday, we held our annual Y-CEO Golf Experience, which has raised millions to support youth programs at our East Lake Y.

This year, we also honored Tom Cousins and The Cousins Family Foundations for the vision and investment that helped transform the East Lake community.

It’s a legacy that continues every time a young person at the Y is given the opportunity to learn, lead, and build a brighter future. Thank you to everyone who continues to invest in what’s possible for our youth. by @atlantaymca

Basketball at the Y is about more than the game. 🏀

Kids build skills, confidence and friendships while learning to play as a team, with equal playing time regardless of skill level.

And here in ATL, our connection to the game goes even further. From Atlanta Dream clinics hosted at our Ys to opportunities for Y coaches to learn alongside the Atlanta Hawks, we’re connecting our basketball community to the game across our city.

Winter basketball registration is open at Y locations across Metro Atlanta.

25 years of East Lake Family YMCA.

For a quarter century, the East Lake Family YMCA has been a place for neighbors to come together, kids and families to grow, and community to thrive.

As we celebrated this milestone, we were honored to have the East Lake Y’s 25 years of impact recognized with proclamations from the City of Atlanta, DeKalb County and the State of Georgia.

Thank you to the teams who made these milestone celebrations possible and to everyone who has made the East Lake Y such an important part of the community’s story.

Here’s to 25 years and everything still ahead. 💙 by @atlantaymca

🏈 Football season is kicking off, and we’re celebrating the moments that bring people together!

A special shoutout to our YMCA of Metro Atlanta branch for sharing this incredible moment featuring a former Reach & Rise mentor and mentee enjoying a Falcons game together! ❤️

Their connection has continued beyond their time in the program — a beautiful reminder that mentorship can create meaningful relationships that last far beyond the Reach & Rise group.

From cheering each other on to making new memories together, these moments show the lasting impact of mentorship. 🏈✨

Here’s to community, connection, and the relationships that continue to grow!

Need weekend plans? We got you.

It’s the last weekend of SWAPtember, and with some beautiful weather ahead, it’s a great time to get out and explore ATL.

Through September 30, show your YMCA of Metro Atlanta membership card at 23 participating Metro Atlanta attractions and receive $10 off a membership purchase or a comparable offer.

We made a stop at Atlanta's Urban Oasis - @atlbotanical, but there’s plenty more to explore.

And it works both ways. Members of participating SWAPtember attractions can visit a YMCA of Metro Atlanta location and receive a $0 joining fee when becoming a Y member.

Only a few days left. Where are you exploring next?
