The AFTA team are gearing up for what promises to be a busy day at Pilot Careers Live this Saturday at the Convention Centre Dublin! ✈️

Based at Cork Airport, we're delighted to be on home turf, meeting aspiring pilots and discussing the different pathways to a career in aviation.

We'll also be joined by our partners at Munster Technological University (MTU) to discuss the Global Business and Pilot Studies degree programme, where you can earn a university degree alongside your pilot licence with AFTA.

Did you know? Students on the MTU programme can also pursue our airline-mentored pathways with Ryanair and VistaJet!

We'll also be discussing the Ryanair UK Programme, another exciting pathway for eligible Irish and UK passport holders.

Be sure to stop by our stand and say hello!

What a fantastic day yesterday at AVCON 2026, held at Casement Aerodrome, Baldonnel, Co. Dublin! ✈️

Our AFTA team was in high spirits as we had the opportunity to take part in a number of presentations and meet so many aspiring aviators at our stand, which was buzzing with activity throughout the day!

A huge shoutout to the AVCON team for organising such an incredible event, welcoming over 8,000 students, and a special thank you to the Irish Air Corps for facilitating such a memorable day.

It was truly inspiring to see so much enthusiasm for the future of aviation, and we hope to welcome some familiar faces to AFTA in the near future!

What’s the best way to see Ireland? Probably from the air!

A big thank you to one of our flight instructors for sharing this fantastic view from an MEIR training flight over East Cork recently.

Can you guess the town below? also can you spot the Old Head of Kinsale in the distance?

There’s nothing quite like getting a bird’s-eye view of Ireland! by @atlanticflighttrainingacademy
