The ZPM Room I’ve been working on it for quite a while, and honestly one of the most fascinating rooms in the entire city for me.For this build, I really wanted to stay as close to the original look from the show as possible. The layout, the shapes, the strange Ancient architecture — I tried to capture as much of it as I could without making too many compromises.That also meant using some pretty wild building techniques along the way. But honestly, that’s exactly what made this project so fun.Atlantis has so many iconic places, but this one always stood out to me because of how much story and tension is connected to it like in the episode - The Siege Part 3 -or in - Before I Sleep - where we even see Janus in there together with Elizabeth. I woke up this morning, saw the announcement of the livestream and the first thing I thought was - today is the day! Today is the day where i tell you, how I felt about what has happened 21 days ago. It was a Wednesday evening (in my time zone) when I saw the announcement and watched the video yet minutes after the premiere from @dialthegateshow and @gateworlddotnet who had the pleasure to tell us something that gave relief to every Stargate fan. After 17 years, the dream come true. We are doing Stargate again. We will get something new. And we have absolutely amazing persons on board for that. One of them is @martingero - the new Head of Stargate - how I would call it - and he is the perfect person that will make a dream come true. All of that really moved me very deeply. I had tears of joy and relief in my eyes and was grateful - still yet! Martin posted a picture of him on the set of Stargate Atlantis back in the days and when I saw it, I directly had the idea to recreate that picture with my micro Lego Atlantis Scene and making a Martin Gero Lego Minifigure. Today is the day. Today the last part for the figure arrived - there is no coincidence - ! We have the joy that the amazing @davidread83 (Dialthegate) and Darren Sumner (gateworld.net) doing an interview with Martin Gero. So excited to hear what they will say. So I’ll suggest to tune in within the next hours , it’s 5pm EST or for us in Germany „23 Uhr“. Which is nearly midnight. I´m so grateful Stargate returns — that’s how the universe is talking. The Battle over AntarcticaWhen i made the outdoor shooting in the winter with the @bluebrixx Prometheus this project has already started and I could utilize the stands. Now we have a full display for this iconic scene. Thought i'm going to share some work in progress of my newest project i had an idea for at the weekend. The Ancient Telchak or Ancient Healing Device. First i thought this is going to be done in an hour but the perfectiosism kept me buidling - in this case digitaly in Studio. Which is the main reason why can share it with you. This is far from ready btw. Top and Bottom need to be made as well as all the ancient glyphs on the 4x4 plates. And some idea for bringing some light in it. I probably going to do instructions for it and publish them, so i would like to know, would anyone be interested in that? While the temperature outside feels pretty much similar to the desert where SG1 were walking around in this scene I thought it would be a perfect moment for my new Stargate Moc. This is from the episode The Tokra , in which the SG1 team gets in touch for the first time with these mysterious not really Goauld Goaulds which became very important - but often annoying - allies.
