I just finished this glow in the dark worry stone. Made from Raffir Uranium. by @atlasmaterials

We picked up some really cool Juma materials at the DC show. I’m using Atlas, my 6 month old 13-1/2 pound Maine Coon kitten, to verify the blanks are long enough 😉🥹😊🤣

DC Pen Show 2026 was an absolute blast! We are seeing more pens with our materials and got to know more makers.🖊️✨

It’s always incredible seeing our materials turned into such stunning pens by talented makers. We love displaying these customer pieces at our table so everyone can see what the raw materials look like once they come to life. Picked up and have a few more coming that may make the SF table.

Next stop: San Francisco Pen Show! We’re bringing some fresh new materials along for the table—see you all there!

Took the day off to give my finger one more day, see if I can putz about in the shop... Got the mail andi finally got a pair of carbon fiber scales to try!
Worked on the scales that Tony @underthebridgetoolandscale helped me pick out and showed me how to get everything flat and square the best way, before glueing up all the pieces. So we have some blue burlap micarta and one of Tony's spacers he let me use some black micarta liners and some orange Richlite micarta. Tony's good. He's got great eyes for color combos. Really inspiring. I've got to get a few more tools to make scales like these consistently, but hopefully soon I'm gonna start cranking them out more frequently and maybe sell some too!
I also made a 45° jig for front butts and I'm gonna start practicing my chamfers with this as well instead of eyeballing everything. I'm really trying to step up the professionalism. Takes a while to have the money to collect all the tools, build up more and more but I'll get there!

Thank you everyone by @atlasmaterials

I believe this is the first Exta Long Arlington fountain pen they I’ve made in a @crazy_fiber and OPAREX mix. These are handmade right here in Pittsburgh. This custom pen will be at the @trianglepenshow in a few weeks, so stop and take a peek. by @atlasmaterials

Probably one of my favorite pens as of late. Not a standard model but this is probably closest to my Westwood for size reference. The resin is The Ballad of Never After by @papajstudio and then there’s the @crazy_fiber from @atlasmaterials . This one can be purchased at the @trianglepenshow in a few weeks. If it doesn’t sell at the show it will drop on my website by @atlasmaterials
