Where we went: Le Colonial @lecolonial_restaurants at the Shops in Buckhead

When we went: went for lunch on a Sunday, not super busy at all and we sat on the outdoor upstairs patio
How we got there: easy valet parking at the Shops at Buckhead @buckheadvillagedistrict ($12 on weekends)

What we ate:
we shared all of these and both were super full
- Banh uot / Sesame Beef Rice Noodle Rolls Grilled Sesame Beef rolled in Flat Rice Noodles with Cucumber, Lettuce, Basil & Lime Garlic Sauce (pic 2)
- Bun Thit Nuong / Pork Noodle Bowl: Chargrilled Heritage Pork Shoulder, Garden Greens, Rice Vermicelli, Cilantro, Mint, Scallions, Garlic Chili Fish Sauce (pic 1&3)
- Crispy Brussel Sprouts: Caramelized Fish Sauce, Lemon, Toasted Peanuts (pic 1&3)

What we drank:
We both got the Vietnamese iced coffee
What we thought: I have been here before but only for dinner and I really enjoyed it for lunch! Vietnamese food is my fav and the French-Vietnamese fusion is just so well done here!

If you’re looking for your next big date night - we have it here! A few weeks ago we went to @the_alden_atl to celebrate a big work milestone and it was the perfect place to do so. Their chef tasting experience was one of the best that we’ve done (and we’ve done A LOT). Starting out with the seating - they have only 2 seatings for their tasting menu on Friday and Saturday at 6:30 and 8 with ~6 seats per time slot - so you get a lot of attention and great service. You sit at the bar facing the chefs and do the full tasting at the same time (all 6 people) which is just so fun to experience it all together - even with strangers! The tasting menu is 7 courses - but feels more like 10 with all the lil snacks and treats along the way. We also did the wine pairing which was one of the BEST I’ve EVER done and I really mean that - it was so great. The Alden is also just so chill - they are not pretentious, it’s just so fun and the staff, chefs, and entire team are so accommodating, welcoming, and truly masterful. We had the best time here and will definitely be coming back for another tasting in the future - the menu changes with the seasons with fresh and local ingredients. Chef Jared was amazing and we HIGHLY recommend - would love to hear from y’all if you’ve been for this tasting menu as well! 🤍

Happy Friday Jr.! To anyone looking for food plans this weekend - to all my food + date night lovers alike, here’s one of my favorite recommendations @lylalilaatl. 🖤 As you can see in these pics - I’ve tried SO much here but the menu is always changing, which is so fun getting different things at different times of the year. Any version of their truffle ravioli, pappardelle, or crudo of any kind is absolutely unreal. Their drinks are always stunnnnning 🤌🏻 too! Highly recommend if you’ve never been before - it’s the perfect place for sharing entrees and would be a great date night, girls night, or celebratory dinner spot. Honestly going to book something there again soon after staring at these pics 😛

Can’t gatekeep this one for too long 🫶 - table side s’mores at @saintscouncil last night - so unique and fun. We got this plus and old fashioned for him and a peanut butter hot chocolate with Bailey’s for me 🫠🫠. Such a fun date night at @colonysquareatl with all of the holiday decorations up already. Highly recommend this for a fun date night experience - anyone else tried this out yet??

My birthday is in August - but never shared the amazing birthday dinner we had at @umisushiatl 🤌🏻🤌🏻 we did the Omakase - Miyabi (chef’s tasting menu with sushi and hot items) - everything was absolutely incredible 😍. Tasting menus are my fav and if you’ve never done one before - you’re missing out! It’s so fun not knowing what is coming next and getting to share the experience of trying different things with your partner! We have another birthday coming up this week and we are headed to a steakhouse - any guesses on where 👀👀

Happy Friday date night! 🤍If you are looking for last minute date night plans for tonight - I suggest @serenapastificio at @colonysquareatl for an amazing evening. Make your reservations on @resy and go see this STUNNING restaurant if you haven’t been there already! 🤌🏻 My favorites there are the crab ravioli (picture 1) and the charcuterie of course (picture 2). The decor is something out of a dream and I always get one of their wines when I go - they have a fabulous selection! Colony Square is perfect to walk around after and get drinks before or after at @saintscouncil or grab dinner and see a movie at @ipic theaters. Don’t forget to bring your parking ticket in from the parking garage to get it validated also! Would love to hear what you all are up to this weekend - any big date night plans??

There is NO better place to celebrate your birthday than @eatamoreatl 🤍 my favorite birthday tradition and I look forward to it every year!! @mamagaleatl, Professor G, and the rest of the team are like family and make it the most magical night for anyone who walks through the doors! My favorite dish of all-time is the gnocchi vodka, but we decided to branch out this time! We started with the mozzarella caprese salads, the burrata arugula salad, and the meatballs. I OBVIOUSLYYYY got the espresso martini (my fav ever) to start as well and don’t forget the delicious bread with the butter sent from heaven itself. For dinner I got the rigatoni osso bucco, which was one of the specials of the night and it was absolutely unreal and I paired it with the house Cabernet. A few of my friends got the penne with salmon alla vodka which was so delicious. We got the sorbets in between courses for palette cleansers and then the limoncello shots as well after dinner which were INSANE!! I got my favorite cannoli ever to top off the best night! I love so many restaurants in Atlanta, but @eatamoreatl takes the cake for best places for a birthday. The vibes, decor, music, and atmosphere are just unparalleled and they truly make you feel like family 🤍

The best breakfast date that I’ve had in a while! 🫶 We went to @thechastainatl on Saturday morning and made sure we made a reservation ahead of time on @resy so that we can sit on the Oakland Terrace because we were going to bring our dogs. I got the bacon egg and cheese biscuit, vanilla oat milk latte, and an au pan chocolate (their Saturday special). My boyfriend got the burger and a beer, which I stole many fries of his and had a bite of the burger - both were amazing! We walked around a bit after and loved driving by all the beautiful homes in the area, highly recommend for a weekend date 🤍Sidenote: they have other tables outside that you do not need a reservation for but we just wanted to make sure we could bring the dogs. 11/10 recommend 🥰

Lunch at the beautiful, stunning, gorgeous @lebonnosh 🤩 got the mushroom tartine and the rose latte - and WOW! I wanted everything on the menu and must come back for the breakfast and dinner menus. The decor inside is absolutely breathtaking and the food is not only delicious, but beautiful as well!! Well done to @fvakili and team - absolutely one of the best places in Atlanta! 🔥

Y’all LOVE when I give OTP restaurants some love and while I admit that I’m a baby about driving 25 min out of the city, I do love how much easier the parking is lol. Met some friends in Marietta square for a weeknight dinner and had the best tapas at @silladeltoro 🔥 we actually forgot to take pics of the rest but we got the charcuterie, empanadas, patatas bravas, calamari, and mac and cheese. It’s also ROSE SEASONNNN so you already know that’s what I was drinking with this meal!! Service was great and the aesthetics inside were incredible too, I will definitely be back!! 🤍 taken in Silla Del Toro by @atldatenighteats

Happy patio season to all - hope your summer has been great so far! One of my favorite patios in midtown without a doubt is @thelawrenceatl - y’all already know that I’m constantly on the search for the best burger in Atlanta and their “the Larry burger” is one of the top contenders. Inside the restaurant is stunning as well and is the perfect date night spot or spot for a great dinner with friends. I’m here almost weekly and this place NEVER misses 🔥🔥 taken in Rwby by @atldatenighteats
