We have a lot happening this month, and every gathering gives us another opportunity to worship, grow, serve, and do life together.

On Sunday nights, we’re contending for the presence of God and making room for people to be restored.

We’re talking about the things that matter to our souls and sitting at the table together as sons and daughters.

Our young adults are praying through the night. We’re serving our city. Our youth are building friendships, laughing, and doing life together.

This is what family looks like. We don’t all gather the same way, but we’re all part of the same house.

There’s a difference between asking God for what He has already promised and exercising authority in alignment with His Word.

Prayer and spiritual authority work together. But we have to understand when to ask and when to exercise the authority God has given us according to His Word.

It starts with knowing what the Word says and learning how to pray and operate from that understanding.

Soul Health Sunday was a special night at ATL HUB.

From the moment people walked through the doors, you could feel the heart of our house. Families came together, people gathered ready to worship, and we made room for an important conversation.

@mymindjoy brought so much honesty to the conversation about soul health. One thing she reminded us is that loving God and needing healing can both be true. We can love Him deeply and still have places in our lives that need attention, care, and healing.

We closed the night praying for the cycle breakers, those choosing to do things differently so that healing can begin in their families.

Ann-Marie, thank you for being willing to have this conversation with us. And ATL HUB, thank you for showing up and leaning in.

The gift is real, but so is the weight that can come with it.

You can love God, serve people, and be sensitive to His voice while still having areas of your own life that need care. We need rest. We need healthy boundaries. And sometimes, we need to be honest about the places where we’re still healing.

That’s part of why I’m looking forward to Soul Health Sunday with Ann-Marie Covert. We’re making room for an honest conversation about emotional health and spiritual sensitivity, including some of the questions we don’t always know how to ask.

The Word of God isn’t just something we read. It gives us a foundation for how we think, speak, pray, and live.

We don’t decree whatever we want. We come into agreement with what God has already said.

Truth is available to everyone, but freedom comes when we discover it and begin to live from it.
