SO proud of Bruno making this MEGA short film!!!

NIMBY
prod. @mteo.makes
dir. @prune.atk
dop. @iona.greaves

Absolutely mad process - loved every second. Months of prep, recces, emails, meetings, placard painting and more led up to such a wet n wild shoot. What an honour to do 1000 jobs on this mini movie… casting director, art department assistant to the glorious @willow.senior & @jasmine_araujo, 2nd unit director (aka newt shoot), crowd wrangler, supporting artisté to our incredible lead (didnt cast myself that was bruno), and all round fan of BRUNO and MEG and this incredible crew. Thank you to my cast for being amazing and everyone on this film for being a legend.

Very exciting updates to come!!

It's only taken me a week to post 🤪

Fankyuuuu sm to @piehouse.coop for hosting me n @supersupersoren last Wednesday at their venue in Deptford!
If ur in London pls check em out because it's places like these where we come to realise our communities are powerful and we aren't alone 💓

It's been a while... honestly this gig meant a lot to me, it feels like adulthood is kicking my A$$ rn - rent is due, I need a day job (genuinely pls hire me if u need help w/ anything👀) and really just being outchea in the big bad world is hard for an undiagnosed AuDHDer; shoutout to NHS waiting lists!
Like, has anyone else felt smacked upside the head wiv the responsibility to be themselves in a world that gives you no incentive to do so or actually rather you wouldn't? 🫠
I get nervous about the sad songs I write, the angry ranting poems, and earnestly speaking my mind amongst all this mass surveillance... but then I get to go to an event and when I get there I don't need to explain myself. I thought it was gonna be an atrocious day and against all the miserable efforts of an overcast English sky, I find myself smiling with a stranger, belly laughing with my friends, falling in love deeper with my found family and reconnecting with my relatives. Even the excitement feels like too much sometimes, which is absolutely fuckin rigged 😆 but I think it's all been worth waiting for (: And every time I feel like stopping, I just wait a little more.

I think I'll be back soon 😜 Ta-ra till then >3 by @atm_ovie

To all the womens, femmes n they/thems, let this day and all the rest of em be yours. I have had the gift of your guidance, the comfort of your strength, the wonder of your creativity and the luxury and invaluable present of your presence. Today and all days I look forward to having gratitude for, curiosity about, and expansion into womanhood! Let nothing come in our way❣️ by @atm_ovie
