Our film MATES storms Dublin this month and we’re absolutely giddy about it. Dublin International Film Festival! Our beautiful chaos heads overseas.

We can’t wait to explain to our Irish fam why Michael Bevan’s 4 against the West Indies in 1996 was one of the finest knocks in Australian cricket history.

“How you livin life like that bro?”

Last ball. Four runs needed. One wicket left. The entire Caribbean already celebrating. Bevan smacks it straight down the ground to the boundary for victory.

That refusal to fold. That beautiful defiance. That’s the spirit of the team behind MATES and their wonderful work getting us to our international prem!

Love you all.

MATES is shipping off to the Dublin International Film Festival! 🇮🇪 Our first overseas film fest. It’s so humbling to see that our Irish fam understands what it truly means to be mates. It’s a really awesome festival with great programming. We’ll be playing February 26 so if you’re in Ireland or the British isles, make the trip and come catch a beer with us 🍻 @dublinfilmfestival #mates #matesfilm #diff #shortfilm taken in Dublin International Film Festival by @atmarcusat

Four festivals this month! The run continues in Brisbane as a finalist in the @ausindefest. Couldn’t be prouder of the team behind @matesfilm. We’re now officially playing a film festival every weekend until November 1st 🤩 What a dream.

Remember voting for Mates is still open until Monday in the @aacta awards too. Every vote counts. So if you’re a member of AACTA and dig the film chuck us in your top 5.

Mates follows two estranged friends as they navigate their peculiar social tension over beers in an inner west terrace. It’s a tense, funny, and heartfelt exploration of loneliness, Australiana and what it truly means to be “mates". by @atmarcusat

Spent the week in Singapore with @kelvinada & @leonardobahar competing in Singapore’s largest Startup competition where we got Top 50 out of 5500 entrants. It was crazy to see the amount of innovation from all around the world, we had a lot of fun. by @atmarcusat
