Join us in our second year of Derby for Dreams, supporting the construction of a sensory garden at University Park Elementary School! Located just down the road from Florida Tech, we are excited to continue our partnership with University Park after the immense success of Derby for Dreams last year. This pinewood derby-style event will feature a competition with only two rules: your car must fit on the track, and it cannot feature any external propulsion. Happy Tau Tuesday! This week, we are recognizing Brother Cory Tomkins! Cory has been a member of the Kappa Eta for the last two years. When asked what his favorite aspect of our brotherhood has been since joining the chapter, he responded that he always enjoys spending time with our brothers, whether it’s at brotherhood events, chapter, getting dinner, and more. Happy Tau Tuesday! This week, we are recognizing Brother Reef VanKuren. This year is Reef’s second year in the Kappa Eta family, and he has already made a lasting impact. When asked what ATO means to him, Reef stated that “ATO is a bond of brothers, all working to build each other up and develop the leaders of the future.” We are so grateful to have Reef as a brother. The boys are back in town! The beginning of the semester has been busy for Kappa Eta, packed full of brotherhood and service. Tabling is underway for our signature event, Derby for Dreams, and, thanks to the amazing efforts of this chapter, we’ve already raised 75% of our goal. We’ve also enjoyed a scholarship dinner for our top academics from last semester, our first formal chapter of the semester, a mixer with @gammaphibeta_floridatech, and tons of brotherhood fun. We can’t wait to see what the rest of the semester has in store. L&R by @atofltech

Happy Tau Tuesday! This week, we’re recognizing Brother Anthony Marrero, our signature event chair this semester. Brother Marrero has done a wonderful job planning this year’s Derby for Dreams event, and through his efforts, we have made incredible progress on donations, reaching half of our goal in just under two weeks. On this special Tau Tuesday, we are congratulating Brother Logan Stiller and chapter sweetheart Gianna Orlando on their engagement! Logan joined the chapter in 2023 and has had Gianna by his side every step of the way. We are incredibly grateful for both Logan and Gianna, and all they have done for the chapter, and we wish them nothing but the best as they embark on this next chapter of their lives. We are incredibly honored to share that Kappa Eta was awarded True Merit at this year’s ATO National Congress in Orlando, bringing home the chapter’s third True Merit bowl since our founding in 2007. This award is the result of the hard work and dedication of each member of this chapter, and we could not be more grateful for the brotherhood that we have created. Along with True Merit, the chapter won the Silver Award for Communication and was recognized for Excellence in Blue & Gold, Elevate, Roadshow, and Total Membership. We are incredibly proud of what we have accomplished together and excited to carry this momentum forward as we continue to build on the legacy of Kappa Eta. by @atofltech

We are thrilled to announce that, after a successful fall rush, we proudly invited eight new members to join the Kappa Eta brotherhood. We are excited to work with these men over the next eight weeks as they learn more about our fraternity and what it means to be an ATO. It’s time for our first Tau Tuesday of the semester! This week, we’re recognizing Brother Blake Rhodes. This year is Blake’s second year in our chapter, and we appreciate his dedication as our Social Service Chair. He has done an extraordinary job getting our tabling efforts off the ground for the semester in preparation for our Signature Event.
