A new cafe just turned Gandy into a Time Machine☕

Atomic Cat Cafe is bringing serious retro vibes to Gandy Boulevard with a space that feels part 1970s living room, part Victorian study, and entirely unlike anything else in Tampa Bay.

Opened by a St. Pete native on June 12, the new cafe serves Tampa-roasted Wuz Here coffee, dirty sodas, and cat-themed specialty drinks like the Arista-Cat and Cheshire Cat lattes. Inside, guests can choose between a vinyl-filled lounge complete with vintage furniture or a cozy leather-clad study designed for slowing down and staying awhile.

If your ideal coffee shop includes good music, quirky decor, and a little nostalgia, this might be your new favorite spot.

Would you hang out in the retro lounge or the Victorian study? 👇

Make yourself at home. No, really, they mean it 😻

Looking for a cozy retro coffee shop in St. Pete? @atomiccatstpete on Gandy Blvd is a time travel coffee bar with funky ‘70s in one room and Victorian calm in the other.

It’s the sister spot to @ingridsinstpete, the beloved St. Pete thrift + record store, and it’s made for lingering

What to order ✨

☕️ The Arista-cat housemade brown sugar bourbon syrup + vanilla cold foam or make it an Old Fashioned with orange cold foam

🍋‍🟩 Pair it with the sourdough key lime pie. Trust us.
