I got a new piece up on @atomicgeekdom! #SpiderGwen was the first #Marvel hero I fell in love with from the moment I picked up Edge of Spider-Verse 2 and I have been so let down by her current direction. I break down some of my thoughts on where I feel that Marvel editorial went wrong with this once promising character #GhostSpider #SpiderVerse by @atomicgeekdom

Been a little quiet on here but my latest piece is up on @atomicgeekdom

“The X-Men are finally going to make their MCU debut, just not in the way that fans were expecting, and certainly not in the way they should be. It seems that Kevin Feige can now realize a nearly 20 year old dream and all it took was Disney buying 20th Century Fox.”

I wrote this before #MarvelStudios began work on a new #XMen movie but I think the major points of nostalgia through the lens of returning characters still holds true! I just don’t see the appeal in bringing back these actors!

Hope you guys will check it out! by @atomicgeekdom

I’ve been thinking about the remake to #howToTrainYourDragon2 and was wondering how you could improve on the original animated film. Finally I came up with the solution! What do you think? Check out the piece in my stories! by @atomicgeekdom

I’ve been struggling with #StarTrek #StrangeNewWorlds so I wanted to try and get all my thoughts on why out in one piece!

So I did! This is a big piece that talks about the nostalgia trap the show is in as it drifts to the right politically erasing the possibility of the show forming its own identity.

If Strange New Worlds only exists to set up the original series or #StarTrekYearOne then it has no value artistically #bitchinaboutnothin #CaptainPike #Enterprise #CaptainKirk #SNW #TOS #NurseChapel #TheGorn #Spock by @atomicgeekdom

“Dracula has to be one of the most adapted works of fiction in the world, so finding new and interesting ways to tell this story can be difficult for a creator. But Tynion and Simmonds are more than capable of retelling this story in a way that feels both familiar and fresh.”

Will Kathleen Kennedy step down from Lucasfilm? Probably someday! But while people debate over who should take over when she does, @btmcclure has a unique take on a post-Kennedy Lucasfilm.

“while she looks to a well-earned retirement from Lucasfilm, the question becomes, who takes over?”

“The mystery of L’Arpin begins in a way that pulled me in quickly and made me want to know more. Sadie starts out as a character I really was rooting for.”
