23 October, autumn Friday we are happy to host within the walls of Mastak one very special artist!
Atomlui - Hamburg based dj, crew member of Remoto records, Kiel’s Bunker club resident and part of Humble Encounters collective.
She possesses a special, subtle sense of spatial perception and the ability to retranslate it into the very deep & minimalistic music through the speakers with very intelligent and spiritual approach.

Dear Listeners, say hello to Lui:
„This set was played as a long rave in Bremen slowly came to an end and the after-vibes began to unfold. For me, that’s a time when different portals seem to open... a moment to dig a little deeper. Sound-wise, I wanted to play with contradictions: airy butterfly tunes hugging a deep velvety weirdness. Welcoming both the calm and the chaotic. A transition that captures this feeling for me is “Big Baby Jesus” by Traumprinz into “Lost and...” by Losoul.+“
Danke Lui

„Phantasia, for me, is the feeling of letting two opposite things be true at the same time. It’s about observing your fears and worries and asking them out for a dance. Seeing the parts of yourself you’d rather hide and learning how to remix them right. Never underestimate how strange life can get, and find a warm/ comfortable place between the cracks of the weird.“ by @atomlui

After a short break from our Pudel residency, we continue to strengthen the Hamburg-Warsaw connection by inviting our friend Pridi. His debut EP on the hague label Nesreh has been a favorite in all of our record bags, with a versatile mix of dreamy soundscapes, emotive subbass, and everything in between.
Pridi will be supported by Atomlui, who has been dominating dancefloors from Basel to Kiel, playing all kinds of deep and witty house weapons. by @atomlui

For this month’s edition of our show on @radio80000 , Atomlui picked a selection of records she collected from the store. Fresh releases as well as second hand favorites.

Atomlui has been a familiar face at Kiel’s Bunker Club for years and is part of the Humble Encounters collective. She’s now based in Hamburg, where she joined the Remoto-Rec. team and contributes to FR, FLINTA* Remoto series, helping shape the local community. Her records shape a sound that is deep, minimalist, and witty, moving along the edge of house and techno.
