ARTIST SPOTLIGHT: BŁAŻEJ MALINOWSKI

There’s a lot more to Błażej Malinowski’s practice than what happens behind the decks. At the centre of it is a genuine curiosity for electronic music — its history, its possibilities, and the communities that grow around it.

That spirit extends into @inner_tension, the label and platform he founded, which has become an important home for his own explorations and a space for like-minded artists and sounds. It also comes through in Why So Silent?, his audiovisual series pairing electronic music with silent cinema — a project that speaks to his interest in creating experiences that exist beyond the traditional club format.

The carousel offers a glimpse into the path that brought him here — from his early days discovering electronic music in Warsaw to the many forms his practice has taken since.

Swipe through to get to know the artist behind the sound.

We are excited to present: BŁAŻEJ MALINOWSKI.

The Warsaw-born, Berlin-based DJ and producer joins us for his Canadian debut. Malinowski’s distinct body of work spans across acclaimed releases for Semantica, The Gods Planet, Silent Season and Warm Up Recordings—alongside collaborators Claudio PRC, Svreca and Neel, and remixes from Oscar Mulero and Dasha Rush.

His deep, driving psychedelia is as physical as it is mind expanding. Behind the decks, that language expands outward: long-form, tripped-out techno built patiently through rhythm, atmosphere and momentum, equally capable of locking a room into hypnosis and pushing it forward.

This is a rare opportunity to catch him behind the decks on this side of the Atlantic with an extended set that is uncompromising and built for the night.

One year deep, THANK YOU! 🖤

Today we’re celebrating ATONL turning one and coincidentally it falls also on Canada Day. We were born in Toronto, but are raised worldwide by the artists and listeners who fuel our growth.

We started ATONL to build the room we couldn’t find and keep the underground and its artists strong and alive. We put the sound first above all and allow it to decide who belongs, not the guest list. We don’t do trends, egos, or chase numbers. We stand by curating proper vibes and real connections to the people and the music.

We executed radio episodes, community exchange series, and intimate events that felt exactly like us, and built a team who believes in the same thing we do. And with that, we grew and are growing, but on our terms.

To everyone who showed up, listened, danced, and played - THANK YOU! We love nothing more than fueling your journey the way you’ve fueled ours.

This is just the beginning, here’s to year two 🖤🥂

ARTIST SPOTLIGHT: FELICIANA SILVESTRE

For @feliciana_silvestre, the dancefloor is a place to build connection, bring about release, but also create momentum. Her sets move with intention — drawing from hypnotic grooves, darker textures, and moments that open up into something euphoric.

Based in Toronto, she’s become a familiar presence in the city’s underground, bringing a distinct energy to every room she plays. She’ll be joining the booth for a journey that keeps moving, shifting, and building from start to finish.

ATNL033 // BATMAN

Recorded in London, UK, this week we welcome @_batman_batcavepodcast_ with a mix that explores the deeper, more hypnotic side of techno, built around repetition, subtle movement and a steady sense of progression.

With over two decades of experience in the underground, Batman’s sound has evolved from the raw intensity of Acid Techno into a more restrained, groove-focused approach, shaped by years spent within London’s rave scene.

This mix reflects that evolution, bringing together hypnotic rhythms and subtle variations that gradually pull you deeper into the mix.

Out now - link in bio. Full mix on SoundCloud & YouTube.

ATNL032 // anise

Episode 32 brings us back to Tkarón:to (Toronto) with @aniseee_3.14 for a properly controlled, steady groove.

In a world full of concrete, anise’s mix pulls us closer to nature as a reminder to disconnect and come back to what is real. A co-nurturer of the label, pondcasts, and sonic excursions organizer @nonverbal_______communication , anise has released nature-inspired ambient and techno tracks on the label, including “Ecologism” and “Procession of the Arthropods”.

Her sound carries that same grounded, unhurried energy and this mix is an invitation to slow down, breathe, and just be present in it.

This is techno at its finest.
