THE SALT LOUNGE AT ATRIUM

We’re so excited to officially introduce Downtown Lancaster’s first Salt Therapy Lounge.

WHAT IS IT?
Halotherapy, also known as salt therapy, is a natural wellness experience that involves breathing in air infused with microscopic dry salt particles. Our Salt Lounge uses a state-of-the-art halotherapy machine to disperse ultra-fine, pharmaceutical-grade salt into the air while you relax in a cozy environment designed to help you unwind.

Guests often enjoy salt therapy for support with:

⚪️ Relaxation and stress relief
⚪️ Seasonal allergies and sinus congestion
⚪️ Respiratory wellness
⚪️ Skin concerns such as eczema and psoriasis
⚪️ Improved skin vitality and appearance

Our private Salt Lounge features a pure Himalayan salt floor, an ambient salt wall, and seating for up to 6 guests at a time.

TWO YEARS. 🎂

When I started putting this carousel together, I think it was honestly the first time in two years that I really stopped to pause, look back, and allowed myself to feel proud of how far we’ve come.

We had fallen in love with Lancaster years before we ever lived here and eventually decided this was where we wanted to raise our family and put down roots.

We moved here with our then five-year-old and one-week-old baby, without any family nearby, just three months before starting Atrium.

And there really hasn’t been much of a pause since. Seeing it all together now, I realize just how much was packed into these two years, something I don’t think I fully recognized while we were in the middle of it.

Finally found the PERFECT space! So much ✨character✨

“It just needs some paint”

- My famous last words as the next 3 months of construction ensued. 😂

FINALLY TAKING CLIENTS!

Just me and a single head spa bed.

I had always loved the idea of side-by-side head spa treatments, so adding a second bed was the goal eventually…

TWO BEDS!

“Eventually” came quicker than I imagined! And the Double Bubble was born 🫧

This was also around the time our little team started growing as well. ❤️

Just two months later, another space in our building happened to open up, and it felt like the perfect next step. (Look at that plumbing just waiting for a head spa bed… it was meant to be!)

This space gave us the chance to add another treatment room, create a real lounge and reception area where clients could start unwinding the second they checked in, and give our growing team more room to work.

So, it was time to get to work again. 💪🔨

It’s a little painful having to condense the amount of long days and pizza dinners behind this one into a single carousel slide 😬🫣

But, designing our spaces and creating the experience around them is one of my favorite parts!

SHE’S SO BEAUTIFUL. 🥹😍

Our lounge and second Head Spa room (with our third Head Spa bed!) were inspected and ready to start welcoming guests.

Such a dream. So worth it.

Meanwhile, behind closed doors we continued working on our biggest project yet.
