Well, would you believe it? I’m diving into something I swore I’d never do. But hey, 2024 is looking promising! Taking a break from the outdoor gigs to focus on growing in the studio. Invested in some fancy gowns and, most importantly, ramped up my education last year. It feels like everything’s falling into place. Keep an eye out for more maternity and mommy-and-me sessions—they’re on the horizon. Super excited!

Raising my own children made me realize that these ordinary, everyday moments are the ones I want to return to the most.

Now that my kids are back at school, the house is quiet again during the day. Sometimes, while making lunch, I imagine my son sitting beside me on the kitchen counter—eating a banana, crying because he wants to be held, or riding on my back while I try to get things done.

Back then, something that should have taken five minutes could feel like forever. Between my daughter and son, I was always a busy mama.

If you’re in the middle of those busy days right now, I know how exhausting they can feel. But whenever you can, try to soak in the “normal” moments. Celebrate simply getting everyone out of the house for a little walk. Notice the tiny hands, the cuddles, and even the beautiful chaos.

One day, you’ll miss it more than you ever imagined.

That’s why I love in-home sessions so much. You don’t need a perfect home, matching outfits, or anything elaborate. Your everyday life—just as it is—is already worth remembering:) taken in Seattle, Washington by @atsumi_sullivan
