Traeger Summit 2025 Recap…

For the last 13 years BBQ has been a way of means to bring people together to share a meal to then get to know the person you are sharing the meal with. Over the years the people I call friends and family through the community has grown. This week, was just that… so many new people have been added to my family this week. I can not thank @traegergrills enough for inviting me to be a part of this epic day.

🏆 This weekend we took home 1st place in butts and People’s Choice for the 3rd year in a row at the @fvdowntown BBQ, Brews, & Blues Festival. 🥇

When my boy @aweebitquirkybbq and I get together for a collaborative cook it’s always a great time, big thank you to our friend @eventhelpdirect for all the extra help from the cook to serving the crowd.

A few lbs. of ribeye reverse seared and seasoned with @meatchurch Blanco.

Honestly, I’ve become overwhelmed with IG and checked out. I still cook six meals a week for me and my kids. Still do BBQ events. I just have zero interest in spending hours editing videos nobody asked for.

Another WINNING weekend in the books. Won 1st place with the Judges & People’s Choice! This past weekend @aweebitquirkybbq and I cooked in @fvdowntown BBQ, Brews, & Blues Festival, this event is very special to us as this is our 2nd year in a row winning 1st Place and 4 years in a row winning People’s choice. Thank you for all who came and hung out with us, you are what makes this event so special to us.

As always we smoked the BBQ over the @tmg_pits CopperHead and seasoned our butts with @meatchurch Holy Gospel and used @aweebitquirkybbq’s Award Winning BBQ sauce.

I know yall like your videos but all I got is this photo. But trying out a new diet. Tonight’s dinner… Lightly fried Gochujang Chicken Thighs, seasoned cucumbers, blanched spinach, charred carrots, coconut milk jasmine rice.
