Finally, after so many weeks, which honestly felt like months I was finally able to have a saturday off from work and see my lovely family of the triple spoke coffee coalition. This time, we had the pleasure of seeing Justin after making his trek from Northern California. For the past three years this car has been down and in the garage, hidden from that bright outside world while under the knife.

Seeing this car in person was really really cool. The noises, the look, the attention to detail, it’s all there. Im so happy to see it finally come to life, and I am looking forward to seeing it paired with the rest of Uprise’s cars as well. Every time I see an Uprise car, they seemingly get the value of quality down so well, and it’s the same case with this machine. Congrats on your achievement Justin, this thing is really really awesome. by @attackmaximum

Last weekend I visited OCDC with Vadim for my first time to go see some more rc drifting. Its been really enjoyable having these nights out at these tracks, and its so cool to see such a niche hobby thriving in the way it does. If it weren’t for me trying to drift a finicky tin can 80s vehicle on a nearing minimum wage part time job, I’d probably be in it right now. But of course, choices and opportunity cost exist unfortunately.

Despite my current lack of entry funds though, both due in part to committing to something really dumb. Also, maybe splurging here and there where I shouldn’t. I’ve had numerous opportunities to drive these little machines due to many of you wonderful people who have happened to stumble upon my page, or who’ve met me out in the wild lands of Southern California. For that I am eternally grateful. I’ve had the chance to figure out what I like, don’t like, and how I’d want something setup before I even commit to a chassis, and I think that information alone is something really incredible to have been able to get a hold of.

During my visit here, Joey let me drive his s15, and he told me to drive through the whole battery span, with which I definitely did. That car is probably on par with my favorite feeling car I’ve driven thus far, that one being my buddy @thereal_bstrick ‘s tt02. What I really enjoyed the most about both is the throttle and power behavior. Rather than simply floating the car through corners, you actually get to be on throttle a good chunk of the time, and on entry you can enter with a good chunk of gas as if you were entering in a sub 300 horsepower car. The response wasn’t too late or too instant, and it felt like I was actually driving it the way it should be. Thank you for letting me drive Joey, I really do appreciate it.

I’ll probably have another post of this night sometime soon as I did film some video of the cars as well, just need to process them through adobe today.

And also, for those who have been wondering, stickers will be available very soon. I am working on cutting them today! by @attackmaximum

Continuing my weekend trip through vegas, as the sun set and the city lights became brighter, we set out on our little night escapade. Being able to cruise around with my friends carefree, without feeling like I had to turn my head every five seconds was a wonderful feeling. I was able to just be there and present in the moment, and I appreciated that freedom of mind a lot.

When morning came Brayden, Rosie, and I all decided it would be a good morning to LA millennial larp and hit a nice cafe. After much brainstorming we decided to visit Broken Coffee, and they served some pretty awesome drinks. Brayden and I had their orange cream latte, and initially I didn’t think that combination of flavors would turn out amazing, but when I tried it, it actually paired really well. My next visit I’ll have to make a return if they still end up having it there.

After the midday cruising we spent the rest of the day at Coleman’s house before my eventual departure. Homeowners like Coleman honestly make being within places like Vegas really enjoyable. He is proud of what he’s achieved and created from his hard work, and despite the hellish weather, his pride in his home helped spark some sort of observance of pride within the state he lives in. As important as it is to note the downsides of places to be, it was really nice to hear someone be so proud in the things and memories they’ve collected during their time within their home state, and it made me become more interested in what Vegas has to offer as a whole. I can’t wait to see how much further that space grows under his ownership.

After my nap, it was depressingly finally time to hit the road again. I had left at around 2am, which made the drive very easy for about 80 percent of it, until I got back to that terrible California traffic. After I made it home, it was time to get right back to work, and reminisce on such a lovely 2 days of road tripping, being with friends, and driving alongside some badass cars. I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t geeked out doing this trip this past weekend. Traveling across state lines, albeit Nevada being pretty close, seeing and taking in the scenery all from my little tin can drift car. Meeting new faces and making connections even with those people you met at the station and may never see again. It was all incredibly worth it. Im so happy I took the time, despite some of the potential risk, to head over to Vegas and settle down for a weekend to celebrate birthdays as well as a friendship that does hold dear to me.

After setting off from Slamburglars Ant, Aiden, Amiel, Matt, and I would all start our trek to Vegas together. It was a super challenge, especially with our already lack of sleep. Unfortunately Amiel’s S13 didn’t make it this time around, but we’ll be hard at work over here in Socal trying to get it finished up and ready to go for another trip and I’m hoping as soon as this winter.

In the middle of the trip I had lost the group being too slow over the hills, and eventually caught up but passed them so a good chunk of my trip ended up being by myself. Surprisingly the Piaa lights actually held up pretty well and I was able to see the road okay. It was much better than my broken headlights before, but it was something and that’s all that mattered to me. Arriving to Vegas in this car specifically was such a wowing sight. As dead as it may feel there on one of those super hot days where you’re staring at the sky in a anger egged on by the intense heat, the lights at night are so cool to see, and its amazing cruising through the area alive at night. by @attackmaximum

On Saturday I finally got the chance to visit Santa Barbara for Slamburglars. Last year I had wanted to go but due to complication with work, it didn’t end up working out. Saturday was packed with lots and lots of really cool cars, and it was awesome to see something bring together so many like minded low style riders.

The thing that Im most happy with something like this, was it was something that brought people together to actually hangout and talk with each other. The beach was beautiful and the area allowed people to distract themselves from the cars for a minute and just appreciate what was around them. It was a very peaceful environment, and it gave me a good feeling.

For me, this was my first time ever stepping foot in Santa Barbara, and I’d say the experience was awesome. Beginning the morning, I was unfortunately the late one for Jacob’s morning meeting cruising up to the spot, but for the brief morning I had stopped, the street we were on looked really cool, so I’ll have to make a day to come revisit and maybe get some photos of someone’s car there. Being around the lot and the area, the locals were really nice and it didn’t feel super overstimulating like the beach areas I live near. It was good to be at a beach with this different contrast in tone in comparison to what Im used to.

I hope that next time I come, my car is cleaner and looks better, but regardless thank you to the guys at Slamburglars for hosting this, as much as the world needs more good drifting, we could also use a little bit more community gathering like this.

Happy 7s day! Its been a fast, but quite eventful 4 years with this car and with it having been done I feel like this is a great time for me to share some photos of it now, and along the way.

As you can see, it is under the knife yet again. It seems that I can’t truly escape having a car without scars for now so might as well move into evolving it once again. Thank you to all of you who continue to tag along to this adventure of mine, I hope for much much more in the future.💛💙 by @attackmaximum

Took a trip to GetJpn for their 12 year anniversary! It is so awesome to see a company like this thrive despite recent years of a completely unpredictable economic situation throughout the world. Tanking hits and losses from tariffs, providing quality service and quality communication, Jacob deserves every ounce of good that has come from building this company and community.

Walking around, every spot was a potential photo. Its so interesting how a warehouse space could turn into such a photogenic space. Even more impressively, the displays set out by GetJpn have always been so spot on, and they do a really good job at making these old used items look, feel, and perform as if they were new. Its always a treat getting to look at all the refinished wheels along the wall, as well as the many many decorations that were released throughout time. It really is a time capsule, and its cool to experience learning about a lot of this history despite having never experienced it when it was out.

Cars wise, there were many many awesome cars. Two cars that really caught my attention were Ant’s MRS and a really cool Corolla with a long nose! Ant did a very good job at delivering the feeling of looking at a 2000s era street gt car. It looked as though it really were a sponsored Watering Kissmint racing car from the well placed and well selected logos, to the quality of body work all around the car. The interior is a treat to look at as well. The long nose car had such a crazy stature with its ride height, it felt like I was looking at that of an outlaw’s car, it was really badass and something I want out of an ae86 one day. Super low, super ratty, and super roudy.

Im really happy I was able to make it out, it was nice talking with friends and catching up, as well as just seeing so many cars from all over socal. It really is a shame the way enthusiasts are generally treated over here, because there really is some amazing work put out by the people of this state.

This past weekend I took another impulse trip up to Apple Valley for some driving thanks to @jrodasjr . It was such a fun day, and I feel like I learned a lot more about how the fc reacts under certain driving situations, and the kind of finesse it takes to really get something so gutless to move. Im really happy I decided to go, despite it not being setup the way I want just yet. Hopefully giving the car some true downtime for a while opens up some room to really dial it in and make it better than it ever has been.

Thank you Judas for letting me drive that day, its a beautiful thing what this era of drifting does when it comes to the connections built and memories gained. I believe we’re in our own golden era, and despite how badly social media can make things, when you take a moment to distract your focus and attention on the good, its amazing what can come out of it. Drifting as a whole has blessed me with so many new friends and new avenues to explore. It truly is something that will reward you when you put the dedication and focus into making the best out of it, and I love that so much.

Thank you Bryan for letting me drive your frs, I hope to be able to take ownership of one of them (really hope that one lol) in the near future. It is such a solid car, and being able to drift it really opened my eyes more as to why there’s such a strong community around them. When you drive them right, they’ll do anything you want them to and it is such a sick feeling. Not only that, but from the sounds of it, they also make solid daily drivers as long as you take care of them, and that part I don’t mind at all.

Lastly, the fc has proven itself time and time again with how much abuse it has taken, how far it has taken me in the worst conditions, and how reliable it has been throughout my time owning it. I’ve hit a lot of walls and blocks within my ownership but despite those blocks its been there for me time and time again. It has earned a huge trust in it from me, and Im so grateful to be able to experience the life I have thus far alongside it. Here’s to, God willing, many many more years of awesome roadtrips with it, and many many more friendships and connections. by @attackmaximum

Last Saturday Boss Boss racing revealed the new look of their GR Supra racecar and it really impressed me. Hot Car did a pretty great job at giving the livery design that bit of flash from the past while also making it fit the stature of this car.

Something that was really important to me looking at it was that they made sure to cover every inch of the car with something. All too much I feel like the biggest thing missing sometimes is coverage when people wanna do these crazy livery designs and whatnot. With this car they made sure to get something on the sides, the roof, the rear, the hood, etc. Things like that really make the difference. A good job to you guys for how this car turned out.

Other than the reveal, it was a pretty packed day at Threespoke this time around, and it was nice to see familiar faces, and meet new ones as well. by @attackmaximum
