POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

@reni_ldn with another top release in July

Not only is she a great DJ but she also has a great outlook on production with a quality over quantity approach, and it shows. She has multiple top releases on @timedance and @ilian_tape which I recommend you check out.

This track in particular stands out for me, the warped vocals with the snare gives it a lovely futuristic tone. (The song title is also the name of my old dog, RIP to that legend)

Track:

Herbie (Album: Sula) - @reni_ldn

Live events:

Paris: @badaboum.paris - 19th of September

London: @mot.ldn & @ormsideprojects - 26th of September taken in Bristol, United Kingdom by @atten.dj

@eversines is one to watch...

I heard @samgoku.ssj drop this on the @thelotradio few months back and It hasn't left my head. If you're not feeling good, whack this on top volume and it'll sort you, I promise. What sounds like a xylophone in the background (correct me if I'm wrong) with the occasional synth and punchy bass is so so well done.

If anyone has anything like this, please send the ID below!

Missing (Mix 2) (Plooi) - @eversines

Knowing when to leave the decks alone...

Sometimes letting the track do the work is the best approach. Everyone has their own styles, but the best know when to let things breathe.

Intro mixes allow you to practice patience and emotional control, which lets you control the energy of a room.

@__k_wata just released a great album 'Give you space' its not often I like every track on an album.

I was lucky enough to see Leftfield at Warehouse Project when it was based in Store Street, the night was a big eye opener to techno for me.

Mixed by the local masters @hodgebristol and @peverelist_livity_sound, it had to be a first choice.

The punchy vocals would be positioned nicely after a break of no vocals, to cut through. A warm up, pressure building selection, in my view.

After years of learning, playlist development and shaping my sound to represent what actually connects with me, I’m excited to start sharing it and getting into the community more.

This is my way of letting go and has helped me when words don’t cut it.

I’ll be sharing the (slowly progressing) set up with some local DJ’s, friends and beyond over the coming months.
