Celebrating the life of Dolly Parton this week and especially her contribution to childhood literacy with her Imagination Library. Dolly had her own unique style and her positive outlook on life brought some sparkle to our world.

Here are some quotes from Dolly:

"The way I see it, if you want the rainbow, you gotta put up with the rain."

"Find out who you are. And do it on purpose."

"Leave something good in every day." by @aublibrary

Sad to learn of the passing of Marjane Satrapi, the author of Persepolis. If you've never read her acclaimed graphic novel or seen the oscar-nominated film adaptation, you can get hold of both via the library. by @aublibrary

These books are tiny books! Smaller than a regular book! 🤏 Currently on display, some of our miniature books from the artist's books collection. Explore the book as a little work of art, or dip into the rest of our collection that explores the book as an art form itself. 💕 taken in Arts University Bournemouth by @aublibrary
