something that was new about me this season: I cried after every game. it didn’t matter if we won or lost or if I thought I had my best or worst game- I cried because I learned to love this game even more this past year and poured my heart into every moment I could. I don’t have enough words that can summarize this mind trip of a season, or this college career, or maybe even this soccer career as a whole, but I do have so much gratitude. thank you soccer for being my everything for almost two decades of my life- I pray we’re not done yet. and thank you jwu soccer for being my lifeline through every time i’ve needed it most and reminding how much this game means to me. it will never be lost on me how privileged i am to love and be loved by these girls and this program by @aubreedylan

four years ago I lost my Papa, one of my favorite people on this planet, and today we said goodbye to his earthly body. no one could make you laugh like he could, and no one could make you feel like you could get out of any bad place or conquer any tough situation like him. when I was in the worst place of my life, my Papa never stopped praying for me, reaching out to me, and physically showing up even if it meant him coming to work in the middle of my shift and pulling me away from the checkstand himself. I feel him during every soccer game I play, every time I watch basketball, and whenever I see a butterfly pass me by. thank you Papa for being the best example of a Godly man. I’ll spend my whole life missing you, but I feel so much peace knowing I’ll see you again one day by @aubreedylan

i spent years of my life loving softball, and i also spent years hating it, but i feel so privileged and blessed to have been given the opportunity to play it one last time on my terms and to do it with coaches and teammates that i adore. thank you jwu softball for letting me have the best three months and for letting @dillondub keep living his dream of his daughters playing college softball by @aubreedylan
