To me having a happy marriage doesn't mean life is perfect, at least not all the time. To me it means we've laughed more than we've cried, celebrated more than we've worried and loved each other through everything. Having a happy marriage means there's a trust between us. That's been built with time and commitment and more than a little sacrifice. Most of all it means, we have a lot of things to be proud of and still more to look forward to. So on our anniversary, I want you to know how much your love means to me because I know that giving you my heart was one of the best things I ever did. It was always you. Happy 8 years, and 1 Married, to my First string.

This year I am especially grateful for my husband,and the man of God that he has become. If I have any advice to single friends it's this.. 💖

- Marry the really nice guy; the one you think is too kind.
- Marry the guy who lets go of your hand to praise the king of kings in worship
- Marry the guy who works overnight shifts, gets home at 5:30 AM and makes it to church by 8:30 AM to serve and help set up.
- Marry the guy who runs to the altar to pray over his friends when they are in need and always meet them where they are at.
- Mary the guy who looks at you with tears and says "do you see how full service is this morning"
- Marry the guy who prays over your roommates sick kitty.
- Marry the guy who never wants to leave anyone out, and always leaves room at the table for others.

The single most important decision I ever made besides giving my life to Jesus was Marrying @cars0ndavis . You are my biggest accomplishment. Everyone deserves a carson. I love you by @aubrianadaviss

Could not let mental health awareness month go by and not post.. 💐✨

This video is to show you - that you may think someone has their dream job, and is engaged to the love of their life, hangs out with their friends all the time (while all of that is true for me), it doesn't mean I don't silently struggle. Although my finance, best friend, and a few family members know how down bad I can be, i'm really good at hiding my depression.
Most know me as a happy go lucky, go with the flow, spit fire flower gal, but I (like all of us) have REALLY bad days (or in my case months). Depression doesn't have to be laying in bed and never leaving your room - it can look like the girl smiling on your wedding day who just spent the entire weekend making your flowers. It can look like going home after work and never touching the hobbies you have loved for so long. It doesn't spare anyone or anything.
But.. it can also look like hysterically crying, next to your two best friends and having a panic attack. It can look like sleeping for days on end. It can look like not eating - for days. It can look like suicide ideations.. (I'm okay - just giving perspective)

It gets better - when you're in the middle of it all, it does not feel like it. I sometimes still ask God "why are you keeping me here," but I know without him I could not have gotten through some of the darkest valleys in my life. I know that my struggle is just another testimony of his love. Sometimes trusting in Gods plan is all I can do in some of those really dark days - still crying and all, but trusting that there is a reason and that he's holding the watering can. Personally I have found that believing in something bigger then myself helps me so much more then trying to do anything on my own..

If you are not okay please reach out for help. It's okay to not be okay - but do it beside someone who is. You are beautifully and wonderfully made, please don't forget that :)
