A year ago today my older sister, my best friend, my person, and my other half died in a car accident. I never posted because I didn’t know what to say… I still don’t really. Nothing can ever prepare you for something like this. My mom lost her daughter, her first blessing, as she says. Parents lost their daughter, siblings lost their sister, aunts and uncles lost their niece, grandparents lost their granddaughter and many people lost their best friend. But she gained a new beautiful, eternal life. She was a big part of many people’s lives. A bright, funny, sometimes inappropriate, ball of Jesus filled joy.

I will never be okay with what happened but at least I can say I had the best big sister any little girl could ask for. We had our fights and bad moments but those times where we would laugh until we couldn’t breathe, cried until there was no more tears left, and loved each other like that’s all we knew to do will always mean so much to me.

I could go on and say so much about my beautiful sister but if you knew us you knew how close we were and what we meant to each other.

Thank you mom for making us so close and giving us the love we needed to have love for each other♥️ Thank you for giving me my big sister. I’m so sorry you lost your cuddle bug but you will always have me to get through this. We can do this together with help from God.
