I found this gorgeous blue-greyish damask fabric while strolling the Fiera Antiquaria in Arezzo last year. This is the oldest and largest antique market in Italy, and it was sooo nice to search for gems in these beautiful ancient streets. It takes place every first Sunday of the month, so if you’re there this summer you should pay a visit 😊
Next to this amazing damask I also found a lot of sewing supplies, embrasses for the Ellie bags and more fabrics. There’s a video on this market in my feed somewhere for the ones interested 🩵

I decided to give this bag another spin yesterday and it made me realize this fabric is just tooo good and I made it reversible with a copper colored velvet fabric but I also made one for a customer a while ago with the most perfect green velvet. Both super lovely and I think the look and feel of velvet works especially well in autumn and winter. Scroll till the end of the slides to see the green one 💚

I put it up for orders in my webshop for the ones interested! I have just enough fabric for a couple more pieces with velvet of choice. Would love to turn this fabric into something special ✨🩵

Over the years I have been tossing out a lot of garments I didn’t wear enough, didn’t feel like me or had no comfort. Instead I made items that will hopefully last a lifetime! That means natural fibers, like cotton, linen, silk and wool, shopping second hand/ vintage or antiques and also finding my own signature. Some of these were pieces of my beginning days of sewing and some are quite recent but already a favorite.
I love how almost everything can be combined, that makes hundreds of outfits and is so versatile.
Stay tuned for a part two because it’s not the end yet 🥲

And just in case you were wondering:
• yes I also make custom garments on request 🙂 just let me know what you have in mind and I would love to create together
• and yes Patti Smith made me do it today because this is my little offering into the world

I made a leather, embroidered cover for my order book and wrote down some words 🩵
There will be almost 5 years of doing this handmade sewing business (a big give away is coming up so keep an eye!👀) and I couldn’t be more happy with everything from the last years and also with where this is heading to!

Almost home from some weeks of traveling and I’m ready to take new orders in my new order book 💗

Feeling very happy and blessed spending these weeks in Bosnia & Montenegro. Camping in the most beautiful spots and working on the way, new and old projects. Reminding myself office can also look like this. Now slowwwwly heading back up north, back home, but some stops first in Croatia (rainy) and Italy (antique markets and stocking up pasta for hermit season) 🍝

This cooler autumnal camping trip to the Balkans inspired me to knit again! Bought these strands of 100% sheep’s wool at the local market in Sarajevo and did an attempt to make warm headbands for this autumn and upcoming winter ♥️ I have plenty more yarn left and have been making a lot of different ones these weeks but if you feel like yes I want this, need this in my life, let me know ♥️

It was a lot!! Finished all your lovely orders, even got some time left for presents and extra camping looks and now ready for a vacation! ♥️♥️ will be taking new orders in a couple of weeks again. I’ll be loading our little home/atelier on wheels with a lot of materials to get creative with. Can’t wait 🥰

It’s time to let go of some lovely bags (&other items!) I made over the past year! Offering 25% off with code ENDOFSUMMER25 throughout the webshop, only excluding made-to-order items! Next Friday I’ll be traveling again with our camper for a couple of weeks so if you have been eyeing something in my shop, this is the time 💚 from September 18th till October 18th the shop will be closed. It would be SUPER nice to give these items a new home and also to make space for new items to come. They are all made with vintage fabrics and trims and some antiques. Can’t wait to get back in the atelier in some weeks with renewed inspiration and some extra room 💗

The Sally Bag is a perfect everyday bag that has a super relaxed shape (wide handle, enough space inside) that makes it very easy to carry everything you need. From daily essentials to a few extra groceries, an additional layer of clothing, a book, a small laptop, you name it! And there’s an extra pocket with zip inside. I made many variations this last month but I had this combination in mind for a while 💘

Made with dusty pink velvet with a little rib and lined with a beautiful fabric that was once a room divider panel. A gorgeous French jacquard fabric with cream and pink and brown and a dash of red.
