Just some peaceful nighttime summer camp ASMR🔪⛺️throwback to SHOOK!🏳️‍⚧️🏳️‍🌈5 years ago!! the Sleepaway Camp section was iconic in its own right. Being the smallest of the 3 sections, I wanted to take my forest/ nature soundscapes up a notch. I had a left and a right EV playing different stems of lakeside ambiance/forestry and a middle speaker for additional crickets and nuance.
Combining the camp owner’s demise with a camp counselor for the first jumpscare, @theother.ryan slayed his 80s crop top chop moment. Fun fact the first part of that trigger sound is copied from Wendigo and the possessed woman’s show moment. Passing by the chef who has met his oily demise, you walk by some sleeping bags (@desirae_jae head/ all fake heads made by @cliff.world 🔥) and hear some curling iron action in the nearby cabin, to finally come face to face with the real killer all along, Angela! My god she’s a boy! Had fun mocking up those Angela growls and cutting that music to end in trigger fashion! GO watch a campy GAY/ TRANS horror movie this month! 🚨SOUNDS OF HIMITSU STATION 🚨🚊
For four months in 2025, I designed sound effects and ambient soundscapes for @himitsustation - a new escape room in SLC themed to an underground Japanese marketplace. I collaborated closely with the creators, who’d been building this detailed world for months, and worked alongside some passionate and very talented artists who made it all come together.

I designed puzzle-triggered sound effects, layered ambient soundscapes, jingles, and edited character vocals to give the space the Ghibli-esque meets Blade Runner feel. I started off with a train sound effect designed to recur throughout gameplay and reinforce the sonic effect of being in an underground world. A favorite section of mine to craft was the soundscape of the abandoned boiler room, along with the voice of a sentient boiler that crackles and booms through the space.

To finish off, I traveled to Salt Lake City for programming and on-site installation of all the sound/ show cues, final re-editing, as well as dropping in the finalized scores from the composers into all the master tracks. Final touches, animatronic figures and set dressing were installed throughout the summer, and Himitsu Station opened their doors for guests this fall! It’s been gratifying to see people young and old immersed in and enjoying this world. The reviews don’t lie, it’s truly a feat to behold. Now to get there myself to see and hear the completed polished product!
If I’ve leaned one thing in my journeys, it’s that every cog in the machine matters, and in this case, every person making their art along the way for this was equally crucial to bring it all to life 🐱

Happy Halloween ghoulies🎃 I’m so filled with gratitude to have been the Sound Designer of all the Triggered Scare Audio for the 6 IP Mazes at Six Flags Fright Fest Extreme! I was also given the opportunity to make my mark on the Room Audio for Trick ‘r Treat, Stranger Things, and The Conjuring Universe mazes. I worked to create the scare sounds for the hideous Bathsheba, the Nun, and of course Sam and the Werewolf girlies. It was important for me to include some iconic dialogue from TrT/ Conjuring, as well as recording my own version of the music box and Crooked Man nursery rhyme 🎵My love for haunts + sound runs deep, and this has been a dream for taking my passion to a new audience and level. Crazy to have the sounds playing in 6 diff Six flags parks💀 Huge shout out to @awkwardarsic for lassoing me for this crazy thing, As well as the incredible @classyafox and @natums 👻 @ajdanna ty endlessly for all your voice talents & supporting me throughout this rollercoaster ride. @omgjoshie helped me save the ship and mix audio till 6am 🖤And my lovelies @the_misha_reeves @kittyky were my Voice Over queens. Not to mention my love @msauroraalice out in the world sharing her incredible talents on this project! thank you to anyone who has supported this wild journey🖤 taken in Six Flags Magic Mountain by @audio_kyle

Maag Family Farm House (Massacre?) 🍂 Things have been a little quieter for me (pun intended) with sound for this time of year, so I’ve been looking back at some smaller projects I loved but didn’t get to share. Not sure if anyone relates, but I often appreciate stuff I’ve done a bit more after some time has passed. Here’s the atmosphere audio I made for @creepitrealoc 2023. Came up with a little backstory to match @msauroraalice ‘s set dressing, (lizzie Borden + Coraline kids) complete with a VO by the only @ajdanna and music by Jack Lenz ( Goosebumps, haunted mask👌🏼). Also features a crate beast effect shelved from @mhphaunt. Matches perfectly with the fall vibes setting in!
