🎧 A space years in the making, finally brought to life.

We recently had the privilege of designing and treating the Music Room at Government Madras Medical College. The vision was simple: create a space where musicians could come together, rehearse, learn, and create without the room getting in the way.

Using a combination of absorption techniques, controlled reflections, and an acoustic partition system, we were able to tame the room while still allowing it to breathe. The goal was never to create a dead space, but rather a balanced and natural environment where a live band could perform comfortably and every note could be heard with clarity.

What makes this project special is the story behind it. This was a dream project for the institution, one that had been envisioned for years. Seeing it finally come together and become a reality is incredibly rewarding.

A heartfelt thank you to Madras Medical College (@mmc.musicclub)for trusting Awdioroom Acoustics with this project.

The AV system integration was expertly handled by @mike4sound Mike Williams and @audiosciences Audio Sciences. So much to learn from this guy.

Special thanks to @promusicals for their valuable technical support throughout the project.

Here’s to many years of music, creativity, and memories being made in this room. 🎶

TASE × Scarlett Nights × Promusicals 🎶
A classroom can introduce you to sound.
A stage is where you truly understand it.
🎤 Through collaborations like Scarlett Nights by Promusicals, our Diploma students step into real production environments — working alongside professionals, handling live systems, and adapting to the pace and pressure of live events.
⚡ At TASE, industry integration is not an add-on. It is a core part of the learning experience. Every opportunity is designed to bridge the gap between learning and doing.
🎚️ From setup to soundcheck to showtime, students experience the complete workflow of live sound — building decision-making, teamwork, and real-time problem-solving skills.
🤝 For over 7 years, Promusicals has been an integral part of this journey, helping create consistent and meaningful industry exposure for our students.
Powered by TASE students, delivered on stage. 🔊

2025 was a year beyond familiar ground.

A year of shows across metal, jazz, indie and everything in between.
Different formats, different artists, one intent to keep live music moving in this city.

None of this happens without people.
Deep thanks to every artist who trusted us with their music, every crew member who showed up early and stayed late and everyone who helped make these nights run smoothly.

Special thanks to @bakestagramz and the team at @thespotted_deer at @thepalomarbycrossway for consistently backing original music and giving the scene a home.
To @the.mk.network and the core Metal Chennai team @purrveyorofdoom @theabominablesrikanth @_chivaz_ @shantanukrishnanphotography @_35.mm_ @mike4sound thank you for holding things together show after show.

Grateful to our partners and supporters @thechennaiscene @fanpit.live @metalmaniaxindia venue teams, collaborators and everyone who amplified the work.

And most importantly thank you to the audience.
The ones who came early, stayed till the end, brought friends and kept showing up.

We take the lessons from this year forward.
See you in 2026.
