I do not regret doing the right thing.

While serving as City Auditor for the City of Ontario, it was more important to me to serve the American people with integrity, professionalism, and respect than it was to keep my job. When faced with a credible allegation of public corruption, I chose to do my job and honor the public trust.

For that, I was fired.

I have no regrets. Public service is not about protecting positions—it is about protecting the people we serve. I chose integrity then, and I would make the same choice again today.

As of Summary Report #2 (March 24, 2026), both Measure W and Measure V appear to have failed. The next official update is expected March 26, 2026, so results may still change.

As a former City Auditor, I’ve seen how important transparency, oversight, and accountability are in local government. With Measure W appearing to fail, major hotel and event center development decisions remain under City Council control without direct voter approval. That means continued reliance on existing decision-making structures for how large projects are approved and how public resources are allocated.

With Measure V appearing to fail, it’s also important to consider the economic reality facing many workers in our region. According to MIT’s Living Wage Calculator, a living wage for a single adult in the Inland Empire region is estimated at about $28.26/hour, while California’s minimum wage is currently $16.90/hour. A significant portion of our local workforce—especially in hospitality—may continue to face challenges keeping up with the cost of living.

If these results hold, the outcome raises broader questions about participation, oversight, and how economic decisions are made in our community. With turnout under 10%, the direction of major policies is being shaped by a relatively small share of registered voters.

As the former City Auditor for the @CityOfOntario, I support Measure V and Measure W in the March 24, 2026 Special Election.

During my time as City Auditor, I reviewed projects that raised serious concerns about how public funds were being spent. Because I performed those reviews and raised concerns about potential corruption, the City of Ontario fired me.

Afterward, I continued reviewing publicly available information about major city projects. Based on that information, I believe the city overpaid for the Vineyard Parking Structure by roughly $10 million in 2025. Situations like this show why strong public oversight of major spending decisions matters.

Measure W would require voter approval for certain large projects approved by City Council, giving residents a stronger voice in major development decisions.

Measure V would gradually increase wages and establish workplace protections for hospitality workers at large hotels, event centers, and certain Ontario International Airport hospitality operations.

Workers who support Ontario’s tourism and hospitality economy deserve fair pay and basic protections, and a stronger workforce strengthens our local economy.

But let’s be honest — @ cityofontariohr is suppressing my freedom of speech by blocking this message. That doesn’t change the fact that the @cityofontario must address the ongoing racism in its leadership at City Council.

On March 18, Alan Wapner said:

“He’s a Palestinian disguised as a Jew.”

On July 15, he doubled down:

“I’m not going to apologize… with this guy coming in here, dressed up as a Palestinian terrorist pretending to be Jewish.”

When will cityofontariohr actually address the racism we have all seen and heard from City Council members?

I was terminated for refusing to overlook a credible report of alleged corruption.
Eleven months ago, I publicly stated:
“I will not violate the public trust to remain in a position of public trust.”

On July 15, the @cityofontario's City Council will vote to double the cost of a contract—from $24.9M to $53.3M—without reopening competitive bidding. This kind of questionable spending is exactly what I was hired to audit and investigate.

On July 30 at 1:00 PM, I'll publicly appeal my termination at the City Council Chambers and stand for transparency, accountability, and integrity in public administration.

Public funds deserve accountability—not backdoor deals.

As the former City Auditor for the @cityofontario, I was fired for refusing to violate professional audit standards and for investigating a credible whistleblower report that was never properly investigated.

On July 30th at 1:00 PM, the Ontario City Council will hold a public hearing on my appeal. I asked for this hearing to be public—because the public deserves to know what this administration defines as “unacceptable behavior.”

I did my job. I followed the standards. And for that, I was removed.

The @cityofontario has still not condemned this antisemitic and racist comment.

If you live in the City of Ontario, California, in Districts 1 or 4, please don’t support the City of Ontario's unethical behavior.
Voting for Debora Porada (District 1) and Daisy Macias (District 4) will only enable City Manager Scott Ochoa to continue retaliating against civil servants while burning public funds in the process.
Stay tuned, as the City's ongoing, comically incompetent retaliation against me has to be seen to be believed—that’s why I’m asking that the arbitration hearings be recorded and open to the public!

I’d rather face false accusations of ‘insubordination’ from unethical executives than become complicit in their wrongdoing through dereliction of duty.
