I’ve realized that sometimes my reaction to my kids has very little to do with what they actually did.

It’s about the mess I now have to clean up. The extra 10 minutes something is going to take. The fact that I’ve already asked them three times.

I’m reacting to how it affects me, without always considering how my reaction affects them.

And while I can’t promise I’ll always get it right, I’ve been trying to remind myself that the inconvenience is usually temporary, but how I make them feel can stay with them.

Potty Training is suchhhhh a daunting task. These three items made the experience a little easier.

1. Portable Potty Seat / takes the anxiety away when your finally ready to leave the house

2. Doggy Pee Pads / seems insane but they saved our couch and rugs

3. Designated Chair / the Pottery Barn Anywhere chair was her designated chair for the weekend. So easy to throw the cover in the wash when there’s the inevitable accidents
