So yesterday I did my first diy of 2026: making beeswax candles! Turned out pretty good, but note to self, you need a lot of beeswax to make just two candles lol. I barely had enough. If I ever decide to make them again, at least I'll be better prepared.

I know the holidays are over, but I can't wait to try these Peppermint Swirl laundry sheets from @truearthmovement. 🍭They smell amazing, as well as, the Fabric Softener sheets. I have been a Tru Earth user for a few years now, and I absolutely love the products! So convenient (a great travel companion), mess free, eco-friendly and Canadian made! Thought I would try my own fall pot pourri mix that my friend Kathryn @houseonsquires shared last week! I added some dehydrated pears and raw hazelnuts to the mix as well.
I also thought it would make a really sweet gift idea! Just add some of the mixture to a pretty jar, tie it with twine or ribbon and a tag!🍂🍂

Here's what you'll need to make your own!
- dehydrated oranges, apples, pears or plums
- small pinecones
- star anise and whole cloves
- cinnamon sticks
- raw whole hazelnuts or walnuts
Optional: add some essential oil to enhance the scent. by @audrajenn

As soon as I spotted this beautiful jar, I knew I wanted to turn it into a match holder! Added some pretty matches and a striker sticker on the bottom and voila! Love the look of it on the coffee table!
