I haven’t posted in so long.. I feel like I need a lesson. Every year the first trees that go up are the foyer trees. They are full of memories. This year, the tree didn’t go up until last week. This morning it was 85 degrees by 9:00 am..so I’m grateful for the live oaks that provide us so much shade. I never know what wildlife is going to greet me each day. Yesterday, there was a big cat hanging out on the porch and I’m sure it scared me as much as I scared him. Frogs in my cushions and a gecko on the railing. The foyer trees are special because of the boys ornaments I started collecting over twenty years ago. This year, I added some new ribbon to them.
