dear athletic training,

finally closing this chapter, I find myself reflecting on the past four years I’ve spent as an athletic trainer. coming into this program as a 14 year old and finally working my last game, it’s difficult to put into words just how much this program has really meant to me. athletic training has been more than just taping ankles and free games—it’s been a journey of growth, connection, and fellowship.
through this program, I’ve met incredible people—coaches, athletes, fellow trainers, and mentors—who have each left their mark on my life and eventually became my family. they’ve challenged me, inspired me, and shown me what it means to be part of something bigger than myself. athletic training has given me opportunities I never could have imagined. but most of all, this program has been an emotional journey. i’ve felt the highs, the lows, and everything in between. there have been moments of doubt, but they’ve always been outweighed by the love & dedication from this program. as I step away, I carry with me not only the memories but the lessons I’ve learned. athletic training has shaped who I am, and for that, I will always be grateful. while it’s bittersweet to say goodbye, it’s the beginning of a new chapter, one where I will continue use everything training taught me.

to everyone who has been a part of this journey: thank you. you’ve made these past four years unforgettable.
