Four years ago, I decided to move to a different state & start a new chapter of my life & I am so glad I did. Looking back on my time at ETSU, I can honestly say it gave me more than I ever expected — lifelong friendships, unforgettable experiences, incredible opportunities & unwavering support from many people along the way.

Throughout this journey, I’ve learned:

• Always take the road less traveled. More often than not, the harder path leads to the most beautiful destination.
• No matter how busy life gets, show up. People may forget the words you say, but they will always remember how you made them feel.
• Be present. Take the pictures, start conversations with new people & walk confidently with your head held high. We were not put on this earth to stay small.
• If you’re going to do something, do it right the first time.
• Pay now, play later — because playing now often means paying for it later.
• Treat everyone with kindness. You never truly know what someone is carrying behind the scenes. Life can feel heavy sometimes, and even the smallest smile can go a long way in this worldly world.
•Don’t think just do. Go for it - no questions asked. Who is anyone to judge? You are you for a reason. You were shaped perfectly for Gods purpose - no one else’s.

🌎 God has each of us on a different, yet unique path. It’s okay to feel small in such a big world- the truth is, we’re all just tiny creatures trying to find our place in it.
