It’s really fun to live in the city again, especially when it’s Brisbane

I was almost getting dizzy walking across this bridge bc it’s so high up. You can’t really tell here but it’s like 22 stories 😬

I love swirls, I think they’re my favorite shape

It’s kinda dangerous to have a coffee shop so close to home when the flat whites are this good 🤌

Such a simple pleasure/luxury to have food at home, to be able to get groceries, to be able to have snacks and dinners and whatever at anytime from our own actual dining table or couch or bed or whatever is so DELIGHTFUL. When we were traveling Asia we only ate out at restaurants (a different type of luxury) but we realllyy missed having our own food at home

The other day I saw a video of someone baking and using random stuff in their cabinets and I got a tiny bit sad because I can’t do that because I don’t have any cabinets. Or a kitchen. Or a real home.
Despite that feeling, I don’t wish for anything to be different right now. I like what I’m doing and I like the loosely sketched plan we have. But it is true that I do miss many parts of a more domesticated lifestyle.
