I didn’t think this is what I I would be posting honestly. I thought this week I would be posting about what a Godly time I had at church camp, I thought it would be light hearted and cute, but clearly God had many different plans.

This week My best friend died, not a human but a horse. A horse that took me though hard things that nobody else understood. I wanna talk about Cooper for a minute. A horse that was a racer, a lesson horse, the most genuine horse I’ve ever ridden and when i met Cooper I knew that I found a best friend he was owned by my old trainer and was heavily miss treated. I promised myself and him that whenever I got us out of that situation that nothing would ever hurt me and I did, I tried really hard not to let anything hurt him. Cooper was one of the horses at the barn that everyone loved and I trusted little girls getting on him and teaching them how to go over poles. Cooper loved his Job he loved teaching me how to be better and how to ride properly. And I will never be able to thank him enough for all the love he gave me. When I heard the news I fell to the ground and cried bc being 3 hours away nobody wants to lose someone from far away, where you can do anything. But I think God had a plan with it, I was at camp and surrounded by God and friends this week was so sad but I also met and felt a call to help others, and I think what I’m starting to gather that God makes the best out of these situations and that doesn’t mean I’m sad but this week was the first time that I kneeled before him in full worship, the first time I saw this calling for helping others. This doesn’t mean I’m not sad I’ve cried a whole lot and I’ve talked to people, I’ve asked to go home, but I’m glad I didn’t. And now it’s time for a new promise. That when I get to heaven and walk though the Gates the first thing I will look for is that horse and I will give him the hug I wasn’t able to give him. I love you cooper. ‭‭Luke‬ ‭8‬:‭48‬ - this week was church camp, it was amazing and restoring to my faith in Christ, last year I lost my horse while I was at camp just 2 days ago. Being back on that mountain seeing the Lord work through me and through others changed me, I may be tanner, but my heart is also filled with so much hope in God, and the way he moves. I pray that if you are reading this and never heard of Jesus that you know he can change you. He changed my life. Changed me in and out. And I am forever grateful and changed because of him. I’m not perfect I never will be but I am covered in the blood Christ and he makes me full. by @audreyduary.8
