it has been exactly 1 year since you’ve arrived into this world, the best day of my entire life. loving you has been the greatest gift i have ever received, the love i have for you is like a weight lifting of my chest. you have healed me in every way possible, i thank you for showing me how precious life is.
getting to watch you grow is something so special from your first smile, to your your first steps. you are so smart and have achieved so much in your little time here and i couldn’t be more proud of you. i could brag about you forever - how you were just perfect from the start, how you have slept through the night since the first night, and how you always have a smile on your sweet face
before i met you, i already knew you. when i found out about you i had overwhelming feelings of joy, i have loved you everyday since. growing you was one of the best experiences you have given me, and by being your mother you have taught me there is no greater love. i love you more than you’ll ever know my sweet claire wren, you are my heart living outside of my body. happy 1st birthday, i will cherish this day forever and all of the days before, i love being your mom more than anything
