South Africa with the MBA program challenged me, surprised me and left me with a lot to think about. So grateful I got to experience it with some of the best people to come into my life this past year. 🇿🇦💚 Oh, and my first ambulance ride.

Saying goodbye to winter means reminiscing on the most magical trip to Antartica. My fifth continent! Reached via cruise during the last days of 2025 - we even rang in the new year onboard.

There was a moment one morning in Antartica that was truly breathtaking. The water was still and reflective as the sun shone bright enough I needed my sunglasses. It was quiet. Perfectly quiet. A kind of quiet only nature is able to grace you with. I looked over at Maria to see her crying. I touched my face to realize I was too. We sat in the silence, hugging each other, awed at what we were seeing. I remember closing my eyes and thinking “There are things we are meant to experience ourselves and then there are things that are only amplified by having someone to experience it with you.”

October & November of this year were special. I know I’m going to look back at this time and remember it as the months I was loved back to life by my people. Is it always going to feel like this? Who’s to say. But they make it bearable, despite it all. 💚 by @audrielamb
