Earlier this year some good friends asked me if I wanted to help them build a couple of sauna BOATS… Obviously I said yes. After a lot of blood, sweat and laughter, we finally opened these beauty’s up to the public. Launching them out on the lake last night in celebration with friends and family was epic. So stoked to help bring this unique experience to Seattle and endless gratitude to the amazing crew of people involved in making this dream happen!

A rainy day on the tracks of Lagos. From urban subsistence farms to abandoned multimillion dollar Chinese infrastructure projects there is a lot to explore along the railway. Since discovering this area of the neighborhood it has become my escape from the constant sounds of generators and traffic, where I seek out vestiges of nature and quiet. You’ve gotta take what you can get in this megalopolis of 20 million people.

Sadly with this rain there has also been devastating flooding in the southern part of the country. 1.4 million people displaced in the last week… the damage from this is projected to lead to a major food crisis for millions in the country.

A few more shots from Umbria last month.

Feels like a dream now.

I always cherish the time I get to reconnect with the Chameleon, Limone Legale, one of my oldest friends. I’ve got an eternal bond with this dude and I am very grateful that every once in a while our paths bring us together, we get to laugh about old times, reflect on life, and express our love.

A few days before Leone (as he is also known) and I met up, he had just returned to Italy after spending the summer following Middle Eastern refugees along what is known as The Balkan Route.
In his words,
“Our Intent is to meet the people that are attempting to arrive in Europe, understand their main struggles and to understand how local and international organizations support people on the move”.

He has written a series of articles that provide and in-depth look at the experiences of predominantly Syrian, Palestinian, and Afghan refugees, as they navigate this treacherous journey known as “The Game”.
His writing and interviews are incredibly insightful. The work shines a light on both the atrocious human rights abuses and violence that these people face, while illustrating how grassroots movements and organizations are providing aid along the way. After nearly three years, reunited with my brother @fearnsagram last week! So great to finally meet the rest of his beautiful family, reconnect with @adam_fearns and see where they come from after all these years.
Exploring the Lake District with this crew is an experience I’ll cherish forever.

Scrambling down a ridge near the top of Aiguilles Crochues. Looking across the valley we had stellar views of the Mer de Glace, one of the largest glaciers in the Alps.
Dreaming of coming back in the winter for some ski touring!

The past couple months have been filling up my cup! So happy to be back in the mountains doing what I love after nearly two years of dealing with an injury.
Best part of it all is getting to share these amazing places with good friends, unreal how lucky we are sometimes. by @augie_white
